I know I know people don't believe it , but I have a problem with any and all the bug out stuff like that $50 Backpack 🎒 especially in cases of a invasion happening from a different country or nuclear wars or yeah even aliens heh , the blaze orange or green and even yellow those make for a great target 🎯 it's like yelling have everyone I have food and water, because that's what you are with any and all Brite things just not a good idea, my bug out stuff is all black gray and camouflage, I do have some things that if it's not a war or anything like that, like in a natural disaster tornadoes etc to signal for help , ,, but like I said I worry about all the bright fluorescent stuff just in case of like I said nuclear war and invasion etc you don't want to be a Target for the rogue idiot out there that hasn't prepped for anything to find you sticking out like a sore thumb he's not going to care about you just getting anything off you Comment from : Mudpaws Voom |

The best item to include in any serious survival kit is a Garmin InReach Mini 2, Satellite Messenger/ Personal Locator Beacon!brbrMy most comprehensive kit also includes a Katadyn Survivor 06-LL Desalinator and a Katadyn Pocket Water FilterbrbrThe Blizzard 3 Layer Survival Bag is also something that I consider to be essential Its the choice of military and emergency responders worldwide, and for good reason, its the only bag that kept the survivor alive! brbrHaving a kit is just the begining, knowing and being familiar with the contents is essential and involves more than just watching a videobrbrEven an ultralight, compact kit can contain a good saw and knife in the form of a Victorinox Huntsman SAKbrbrIt doesn't matter the cost of the kit, only that the contents are well thought out and work as intended Comment from : Felix Cat |
|
It seems to me that this is a bug out into the woods bag I don't see why you would need a crossbow in a city Comment from : Milo de Escorpio |

I started with a north face back pack, a few bottles of water, several water purification methods, a map, a compass, different pairs of gloves and a knife Now I have all that stuff upgraded, a rifle, a sidearm, better knives, a better pack, food rations for at least one week, a second pack that I wear myself, and a few medical things to stop bleeding and smaller emergencies like such Most important thing is getting experience and learning what you’ll need year around I learned that from hunting I hunt different game all year, so I learned what I need as far as clothing and water or food Experience is key so do your best to get that under your belt Also carry your pack on your back some Gucci gear doesn’t mean anything if you can’t carry it more than a few miles Comment from : Hayden Jones |

In Search and Rescue we have a 24 hour and a 72 hour bag at the ready depending on the situation Both packs full are not over $400 You don't need a $200 knife when a $20 mora will dobrWe are trained not only to get ourselves back safely, but the lost or injured subjects, and locate a criminal hiding out Each time out we pick up experience by utilizing what's in our pack and tracking skills brThe best tool you have is your experience ! All the comments below: obviously have never tried to build a quality kit It’s the same flaw in think that says building a first aid kit is cheaper than buying a premade one It’s not It’s better quality, but much more expensive brbrI recently started to build a get home bag, as I work twenty miles away from home and have health issues it’s likely a two day trip at best br$50 backpackbr$40 durable ponchobr$30 survival tarpbr$20 foam pad br$20 food brickbr$20 water filterbr$ 12 silcok keybr$30 headlamp (usb rechargeable)br$40 solar charged 30,000 batterybrAnd that’s just the gear I bought, I already had: a quality fixed blade knife, poncho liner, alcohol stove cook kit, metal water bottle with nesting cup, hydration bladder, 100ft bankline, 150ft paracord, etc brbrIt adds up fast, especially if your buying tools that are decent quality Think of that POS shovel/ax in the Russian hackers $1000 kit That shovel will fold the second it hits anything stronger that loose packed dirt Same with the ax That cheap Walmart folding saw will work but it’ll dull quick This channel proved it on one of his adventures But it cost like $10 and a silky is closer to $50 But the silk takes abuse better and takes much longer to become uselessly dull A mora knife is only $10 and is amazing value for that money but it’ll break if put to truly hard use, but a quality knife is closer to $100 brbrSo no a $5000 kit shouldn’t have a car, it should have a bag designed to carry weight well and as comfortably as possible and hard to replicate tools of good quality Have room in it for customization and different weather requirements Reliable water filters and treatment and a good option to store the water I’d expect a firearm better than a hi point, and brass cased ammo Comment from : Isheian |

i think the best survival kit is the crafting table Comment from : LE MARK |

Comment from : lopezfam |

I enjoy your videos when I'm looking for new gear That being said Would you actually carry such a large knife with an axe and a large saw? As an Eagle Scout I believe in two philosophies Two is one, one is none As well as the more you know the less you carry I've got thousands of hours in the outdoors between weekend campouts, summer camp, kayaking trips, etc, If I'm carrying an axe of any size that 100 takes the place of a large knife and a large saw I'd still carry a small saw like a Bahco Laplander and a a small knife like a Swiss army knife or the knife on my Leatherman, but no chance I'm lugging around an axe, a full size saw, and a knife with a 4"+ blade That is a waste of space and more importantly weight Weight costs energy, energy is the amount of time you have to survive Comment from : Corey Douglas |
|
If you didn’t talked that much I would watch it Comment from : Chiiasharif |

Deuter and Gregory are the best all-around backpacks for expedition Kelty is good too, but too heavy Osprey is lighter, but the reduced weight comes with reduced durability North Face iused/i to be good, but they are just riding on their name and not really living up to it like they used tobrbrI recently added up what I have spent on my current gear, and I'm up to $3,685 with just a few more items to finish counting it all Of course, this is a 10+ year evolution Comment from : Dan Curtis |
|
The 50 dollar survival bug out bug is really good but the freaking 5k bag is bad because money you can save more money with cheap things but test the cheap ones not just expensive bags Comment from : Isaiah Judah I Ohena |

It would be good if you did another video with a range of retail purchased quality items for a bug out survival bag say for being lost in a forest situation, and compare the price So a person might spend $250 on a bug out bag that could be advertised for $3000 for those who are gullible or foolhardy enough to pay for the HYPE Comment from : steve lewis |
