How many times had this man been kicked around & abused? It's so much sadness for a man who was so earnest I feel indifferent to Owen losing his pedestal Did he lose everything when it happened? I myself am a failed biologist, and worse, a simple woman I watch this and my inner dialogue proceeds, "OMG it's Desmond from 'Lost'! Yum-MMMMY!!" and "My man was out here saying one of his kids was his favorite, putting it in writing and everything Did he not know that's how you KILL your favorite kid?
