Not all car salespeople are that bad! Same stigma goes for lots of other professions , there is scumbag car salesman’s , just like there is scumbag teachers , priests etc don’t shit on people for selling cars , most people love cars - a good car salesperson and top performer not on food stamps :) Comment from : Samuel Pineau |
I'm laughing hysterically at the fact that a lot of slimy car salesmen and greedy dealerships are now feeling the pinch, just like the ones [us customers] they have been screwing over for DECADES! F^*k 'em Let them feel the same economic pain like most Americans are experiencing right now In 2019, a Ram Rebel would set you back about $44+k dollars (w/ discounts from $50k) That same truck is now selling for over $70k dollars I'm not paying that much for an NA powertrain equipped pickup Comment from : TravelinMan |

The clown show with Benny the lot lizard clickbaiter pos Comment from : Carl J |
What's a car dealer to do when they have no incoming vehicles? I live in a rural area, MSRP because they depend upon repeat customers and people being willing to come back for service I didn't ask (I will next time I visit) but I suspect that if you're not local – you have to give personal information pretty early in the process – they will find a way to show you out the door You either have to ration to desirable customers, or charge over sticker Urban megadealers can't count on repeat business even in normal times, so tend to charge over MSRP Repeat customers (those high-performing sales people) can (quietly) do better, especially if they got their previous vehicles serviced at the dealership Comment from : Michael Smitka |

I sold 21 cars last month at KIA We had the best month we’ve ever had as a company… Comment from : Easton Edwards |

I want to buy a good decent used car like a Ford Edge 2020 SEL, but the asking price is crazy Slightly over 8 interest rates make even used cars with light mileage almost our of reach Comment from : Sierra-Legacy Avila |

I my area, some former car salesmen have taken their knowledge of smoke and mirrors/deception/trickeration/shyster-ism/etc and applied said knowledge in the Medicare Supplement arena Scamming seniors at a most vulnerable time in their lives Comment from : M Mahtnart |
I respect most of your conent but i think you make up these clickbaity videos just to keep with the narrative your making My Toyota dealerships in CT is doing just as fine as this past summer and we are beating last year's records We still have hundreds of orders and we sell everyything before it arrives on the lot Don't want to jinx anything but this is reality and it's good for now Comment from : Miya |
Profit per vehicle is up, but much lower volume, so there is no longer much need for salesmen when lots are empty and it’s an internet order Comment from : G-Force |
If Car Salesmen didn't put away money from the good times of the last 2 years its their own fault The business like the economy is cyclical and its always best to save for a rainy day Comment from : E J |
I believe that the traditional dealerships that we all love to hate are going to be a thing of the past in a few years Tesla has proven that the whole sales model will change and the changes slowly eliminate franchised dealers and replace them with direct manufacturer to consumer sales Many dealers have cut their own throats by inflating prices and taking advantage The franchise laws have been in place for many years and it will take time for change Comment from : Jim M |
Haha title is so funny 🤣 Comment from : TechFollower |
People who get paid to lie , I don't feel sorry for them one bit ! Comment from : freedom star |
no sympathy for peddlers that have stuck people with vehicles where they are going to be thousands of dollars upside down when this market corrects Comment from : lalutte65 |
The last few years has provided most salespeople with an artificially high income because they weren’t being paid on their ability, they were just “Order Takers” in a high demand market Honestly I’m pleased because I grew tired of their “take it or leave it” attitudes Now we’ll see the real sales people survive while the “Order Takers” go to McDonalds Comment from : Marc Vivori |
Good This is a legalized criminal "profession" that would have been dead ecades qgo if not for 100 year old laws protecting these scum bags Comment from : TheTraveler |
Oh, one more thingdeflation is apparently starting Just a few days ago, I was buying gas for $330, but yesterday, within hours, the price went down to $277/gal, and I expect it will drop lower People just aren't buying, so I would expect a sudden drop in car prices to follow Comment from : Kim Kennedy |
Karma is coming for the car salesman Comment from : Drewscruis |
Here we go fire background and dumb look for a thumbnail on the same video you’ve made 55x over the past month Comment from : Nabil Meziane |
i couldnt see this being true maybe in small towns and middle of no where but in big cities, dealers are still making a killing because people are still buying cars at or over MSRP which is already an inflated price I mean, used civics, camrys etc are selling for almost their MSRP values with tens of thousands of miles on them and years old Big markets are going to continue as if nothing is happening Comment from : GOLE R |
7:53 “take good care of customers”brwell, it’s a reality that’s not gonna happen Comment from : DarkCalibur |
There should be one to one and half million job lost next year Walk ins should dwindle down to just lookers There should be more repo cars for sale So used car sales might be busier But people don't want to have a big loan to pay during a recessionbrDealerships will fire sales people who can't close deals If they can't move inventory, expect a pink slip Comment from : heresteven |
Hi Ben There will be a glut of salesmen in 2023 and sales managers looking for a job this will have a knock on effect through the dealerships staff Comment from : david holmes |

Went to a dealership today The advertised price wasn't available because of dealer installed upgrades Wheels locks ($30)brDoor edge and handle protection which might be ($100) and the total for upgrades was $2900 which amazingly brought it up to the same base price of a car not advertised on sale Same old bull shit but they are supposed to be starving? Comment from : Dodger Blue |
We will see, patiently waiting for these ridiculously inflated used car prices go back to normal F150s are insanely overvalued Hopefully the lack of sales will starve and punish these dealers and FORCE them to drop the prices Comment from : Bingo Bunga |

all the financial disaster problems we are facing here are due to the lack of one of the most important human behavior society suffers a severe lack of ethics and integrity making money is entirely different from making honest money just because you pay taxes and work on the books doesn't make it right I was unemployed with no money back in 2008, I was offered a $ 15-per-hour job that involves me in evacuating people from their homes during the housing market meltdown I refused the job because it didn't feel right we need to raise our ethics to the level where making money doesn't necessarily come with messing up someone's life where did this come from and why as a society can't just change that behavior!! |
😂😂😂😂 F-em Comment from : Greg Speth |
Why don't car dealers just pay their sales staff a salary with a bonus if say they sell moire than 10 cars a month This would take the stress away from the salesperson and also makes the car buy-in expensive much more pleasant for the customers who walk through the doors Comment from : Don denis |

Don’t feel the situation for the dealerships are as half bad as you described I have been in a few of them shopping lately They are not as aggressive to sell their cars as far as my experience tells so far And they are still charging over MSRP without problem Also used cars prices are very firm and dealerships refuse to negotiate meaningfully still Comment from : Red |
We LOVE you ben Comment from : slam Dabaibeh |
As a tax auditor who audited I don't know how many auto dealerships, I never saw a formula where the owner took direct revenue from the sale of each car Was there an internal document where the sales managers, and the owner gets a percentage? I guess, but never saw it Normally they take W-2 wages and net profits Comment from : Paul Felkner |
