Christian colleges at least they believe in something they believe in a higher power they believe in God secular colleges do not most people in a secular These people have a very high rated going to jail Comment from : George R |
I'm disappointed that you didn't talk about the actual problem with these colleges The root belief that they are "training the youth" which includes the complete submission of women unto men and it's heavily intended to push a political conservative/cis/straight agenda Just look at Rosedale Comment from : Sayge Ackerman |
Great video I’m 22 and currently serving in the USAF I want to pursue pastoral counseling/ministry, but I want to go to a solid bible believing school that isn’t compromised by secular ideologies that have polluted our society, church, and schools But I also need to go online, so my options are slim Comment from : Joe Miller |
Hello, I'm currently a Christian junior currently trying to figure out college stuff Are these set of problems only limited to your specific college, or these are problems you've noticed in multiple Christian colleges? Comment from : J9RQ |
As a Student at Colorado Christian University, I think they have done a great job avoiding the problems you have discussed They genuinely care about your relationship with Christ, but they do not make students who are not Christian feel pressured to be Christian either All they ask is that you respect the beliefs My education at Colorado Christian University has been amazing Comment from : Ashton Barnes |
Hi Emily! i totally agree with u on this being a true Christian does not mean behaving like one on the surface I'm a Chinese student preparing to apply for a Christain college next year(that's how i came to watch your videos haha) So I just want to ask if you could give me any advice on schools to apply to? also, im really interested in which university did u go to and what courses did u take (I really want to study education so that i could become a teacher who could influence kids or youths as a Christain) Hope u could reply me really need some help with this! and thx for your videos! rly like them! Comment from : Ceciliaiaia |
so you saying the school is not really teaching the full gospel of Christ Jesus Comment from : happy haptoe |
hmm anyway, from what I can tell from your videos, it's looking like you go to a particular college (gsomething??) in a rather liberal area of the country that is struggling with its identity the fact that they've had to recently let go staff members that apparently were pro-lgbtq or had other progressive issues tells me that they're moving in the right direction but they dropped the ball to begin with because such influences should never have been allowed to be there to begin with Progressives are NOT christians no matter how cute they try to be about it I think christian colleges are just now waking up to the fact that progressive people have literally been working on infiltrating them on purpose and they're finally starting to do something about it They should have been more watchful to begin with Comment from : greendesert69 |
hmm what college do you go to? because sorry, not all "christian" colleges are like that Yours sounds like it has progressive tendencies which pretty much disqualifies them from even being called "christian" in my mind A christian college should by definition be emphasizing the gospel and being born again, and YES there are some fairly good true christian colleges out there so please do not generalize brI watch my daughter's college chapel services on youtube since they stream them, and I can tell you, that place is pretty solidly christian overall and the gospel message is preached in depth not just lovey dovey shallow stuff Comment from : greendesert69 |
It's Joel Oesteen type stuff Not the good, bad, the ugly It's 2022 Hell no longer exists according to man Comment from : Jon Wick |
Dear Emely it’s so wonderful information I am Pastor Paul from India My son would like to do MS in CS in Christian college Would you please suggest good Christian college and other information I know you posted long back but hopefully looking forward for your reply Comment from : Paul Sudhakar Ch |

Hi Emily, I am actually considering going back to school for pastoral studies, I am being called by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and I couldn't of said it better Love others as yourself, be obedient to Father God in Heaven and Believe in The Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as the only gotten son of God the Father, that die on the cross for us all and was risen from the dead Amen and Amen! Comment from : JApfelbacher7505 Apfelbacher |
I agree so much with this, I went to Christian college and so much of it was non-sensical positive fluff There was no actual “take up your cross” challenge it was mostly pretending comfortable hypocracy that made Christianity look bad Comment from : Chattanooga Property Management |
Make a video on CFNI dallas, TexasbrI agreed with you totally People taught in Christian colleges make people lukewarm Christian The truth is today christian doesn’t compare securism and Christianity ✝️ they messed up with both They read there bible but aren’t follow gospel Principles In America 🇺🇸 they have free to preach anywhere but in India and middle east you know what you will be Prosecuted because of your beliefs system and still we preach Gospel to everyone The main reason why Americans Christian becoming lukewarm because of “LUST” all over in social media cling with it which making them stay far away from Jesus Comment from : Shubham |
One of my best friends she said that she was going to that specific college and she said she wants to be closer to God but in my opinion if you wanna be closer to God I believe that you should pray a lot and go to church more I don’t believe that a lot of Christian colleges or even schools teach that Comment from : Josiah Sanchez |
I totally agree with you when it comes to Christian colleges and I was going to go to a seven day Adventist private college in Lincoln Nebraska but at that time it wasn’t about Christianity I just saw a class that caught my eye and on top of that I feel like if I go there I don’t want to be forced or looked at differently because I’m not a seven day Adventist or because I’m not a vegan… and I saw a musical class where you can get your music degree and become a tutor and on top of that I’ve been playing cello for seven years that’s why one of their classes caught my eye Comment from : Josiah Sanchez |
In my opinion I fell like they force you to be apart of there religion for example there’s a Christian college I wanted to go to because sum classes caught my eye and the counselor told me that they were 100 vegan and no drug and alcohol which I’m fine with but there are people who are not vegan and who just want to be themselves…I just didn’t fell comfortable Comment from : Josiah Sanchez |
I’ve heard sum bad stuff about Christian college from my friends experiences Comment from : Josiah Sanchez |
I'm a Christian, I want to perdue an education as a 31 y/o adult, what would you suggest? Comment from : Christian Velez |

So true There is so much more to Jesus Comment from : Carter-Blyke |

God's Salvation Plan : "How Permanent Is Your Salvation?- by Hank Lindstrom, on YouTube A person who trust they must help to save themself by turning from sin to go to Heaven is termed a false gospel Turning from sin is Discipleship not any part of salvation John 3:16, Epecians 2:8? Kent Wibourne, Ogden, Utah Comment from : Kent Wilbourne |

AMEN!!! We are from Boston, and I randomly typed Christian colleges and you popped up and I don't regret it! I love that you are bringing this to light Im in the middle of checking out solid Christian colleges for my son who graduates next year Although we left church over a year ago because many things were crumbling apart I still want my son to join a faith based college anywhere in the USA as now it's the time to have a list to submit applications Thank you for sharing your heart here Comment from : Zeli3 |
This was great insighttttthank you!! God bless you!! Comment from : Amanuel Eshetu |
I have to disagree with you Many of my family members have graduated from a Christian University and gone on to live a very Christ-centered life serving others in our community I am so sorry for your experience We also had incredible Christian professors Comment from : Tom Guthrie |
I’ve been thinking of maybe trying to go to school before I get any older I’m socially deprived and I know some people have made comments about a lot of Christian schools not being worth it but I think it would be worth it to me I’m just worried about options and acceptance rates as I didn’t do too hot in hs Comment from : Ashley Rose |
I think your points were fair Comment from : Let Me Explain (Followers of The Shepherd) |
So I’m a senior in high school and I’ve got scholarships to a bunch of different schools for athletes mostly being small private colleges One I’m looking at right now i really like everything about it but there one catch It’s a Christian school and I’m not really Christian my parents grew up Christian but like we don’t got to church very often maybe like 4 times a year mostly for like Easter and Christmas and stuff like that My question is do u think it would be a bad idea for me to go there since I’m not “really” Christian? Comment from : Nate Fi |
This is an incredible video I’ve always wondered if these colleges are more of a walk in the park than being a genuine Christian in a typical college It actually isn’t Genuine Christians who lay their entire selves to Christ always stand out in the crowd, no matter where They are always able to uplift and inspire, no matter where Comment from : Rachel Tubridy |
Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven (John 14:6 KJV) Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ as your only Saviour, trusting completely in His finished work on the cross as the full payment for your sins and be saved today! Comment from : Enter the Bruce 91 |
I don't know why you Evangelicals have problems with secularism, but there is nothing wrong with being Secular Especially since you Christians cannot prove your religious claims just like people of other religions cannot prove their claims either Comment from : Chandler Sleziak |
Check out confessional lutheran theology if you really like the truth Evangelicalism is hollow Comment from : Λουθηρανισμός |
Yes girl!!! You just said exactly what I feel! 💛 Comment from : Christina Joy |
God bless you on this message Cannot be casual Christians Comment from : SET the CAPTIVES FREE |
Good video, I believe they need let people self govern themselves The overly strict rules over areas of personal convictions Comment from : Aaron C |
It’s been hard to navigate colleges and know what Christ wants for me because the schools that are considered the most Christian seem more lukewarm I’ve come to realize no matter where I go there will still be secular pressures to not be All for Jesus I want to study Psychology in a biblical context as well as Theology so I can be a biblical counselor Comment from : Tatum Bomier |
Thank you for this video!! I’m a junior in high school and looking at colleges I have been loving christian college because of the faith filled programs to study and my desire to have solid Christian friends I’ve realized though, the more I look into all these “Christian colleges” the more confused I get on what I want Comment from : Tatum Bomier |
Hey Emily brWhat is your college? I applied to Trinity International University, do you know people studying in this university?brbrHugs form Brazil :) Comment from : Rebeca Lissa Barreto |
Of course, the reason behind the lack of Gospel preaching in "christian" colleges is the assumption that the students are already Christian/"born again" But we are still coming out of the age of "1, 2, 3 repeat-after-me" conversions What does it mean to be a Christian? We don't ask such things and really get down to the heart of the matter: the heart! Comment from : Braden Lindell |
One thing I don’t quite get about this video is exactly what you’re defining as a Christian college? Because many schools have religious AFFILIATIONS, meaning origin, but this doesn’t really have an impact on instruction Only 140 colleges in America are considered full on Christian schools, where religion is a part of curriculum Comment from : Nagini |
One thing I don’t love about our school is the forced chapel count It doesn’t encourage everyone to follow God, it makes some people who may not be Christian exhausted and they’ll see anything “church” as a boring, forced event that exists to check off a box Comment from : Jordan Walker |
I’ve definitely noticed the self-help and the motivation The entire chapel sermon series last semester was basically saying “love each other because God loves you” in different ways And ofc thats important, but there’s so many more topics that need to be stressed Comment from : Jordan Walker |
