A few months back I had just got off work and stopped at the store when I was stopped by a man He was a foreinger (or at least he had an accent) and said him and his family were stuck (wife and 2 young boys) They lost their credit card and had 0 dollars for gas, but the father was blinged tf out He had a gold ring, super fancy looking watch, and a huge chain He was wanting me to go inside the store and pull around 500 dollars and he'd give me his chain Let me mention that he was talking to other people in the lot but they didn't give him the time of day He seemed really desperate, but I didn't really feel like it was legit But on the other hand if he was genuinely in trouble, I wanted to help him I ended up going in the store and just getting a box ofCapri sun's, and withdrew 50 dollars When I went back outside, he begged me to get some more money He just kept dropping his price for the chain all the way to 125 I was really starting to feel uncomfortable at this point, even after I told him I really didn't have that much money he was just really persistent I finally had to put my foot down, apologized to him and just said I can't give him that kind of money for the chain I gave him the 50 and the Capri sun's (I thought the kids would at least have something to drink) and just told him that was the best I could do He finally relented and thanked me and gave me his ring I tried to tell him I just wanted to help and didn't expect anything in return but again, he was very persistent that I take the ring for my troubles Here I am now, wondering how everything turned out for them I still have no idea whether or not it's real gold
