A good time to donate blood is about 4-5 days before major holidays It takes a few days for a blood bank to process the blood for use So I normally try to donate before Memorial Day and Labor Day Typically around holidays where there are increased accidents of all types ie boating, vehicle, etc However, anytime is a good time to donate You will be answering someone's needs & maybe prayers

I was born at an Air Force base in England in 1981 I was moved to the US when I was 9 months old I was told I can't donate due to the mad cow disease Is there a way to test out of this? I'm O- and would really like the chance to donate
