Just watching this video nowBut in late 2020 I started learning more about the nest pension scheme and also noticed that I was not in the high risk fund considering I am 24 and switched it myself My pot has grown an extra £200 in 2 months since making this change Comment from : Naara Fix |

Do you know what's crazy? I was auto-enrolled into a pension scheme at 21 I knew absolutely zero about finances so told my employer that because I'm under the legal age they should give me that money back They did and I probably spent it on useless things like uber and clothing Thank goodness I know better now Comment from : simplys |

I literally just figured this out recently for my pension & switched my funds so annoyed that at 23 years old I've been paying into a 'global equity strategy' for a year which consists of 30 bonds, 10 cash & cash equivalents and 12 Uk stocks missed out on the majority of the US bull run post march Genuinely couldn't believe it when I saw what I had been invested in Comment from : JJ |
|
i also found this on nest stumbling upon it randomly on 11th march and requested to change to high risk fund - was great timing even though my pensions tiny it went up an increase of 8472 from 11th march to 05 june Comment from : Darren Sharpe |

I just got an email from Nest regarding my annual statement today so my question isIs it worth to have a work place pension?how about the state pension?Im 40 years now and i just started my nest last 2017 and i can see that i have some few thousand pounds already in there(excuse my grammar) Comment from : Chetz Martinez Rodriguez |

I have a question for either of you guys if that's ok I am 24, I currently have £80/month going into a lifetime ISA to help with my retirement fund (I figured its a safe fund that also gets the 25 government bonus) and my employer has also auto-enrolled me in NEST, which I changed over to Higher Risk around 6 months ago and contribute 8 of my monthly salary in to Would you suggest switching this higher risk fund over to SSIP and managing it myself or being slightly lazy with it and leaving it within my higher risk NEST pension until 10 years before retirement? Thanks Comment from : FollowingLiam |

I dunno I got my nest pension at 23 I'm 26 now and it's got a value of 33k as of today Comment from : Rob O |

Have you considered that contributions tend to be lower from workers under age 27? In the grander scheme, the opportunity cost of missing out from compounding gains from riskier assets may be lower than expected Also, what is the long term psychological impact on an investor/saver from a stock market crash? I see that Nest has its own behavioural insights team, so I guess that this is all based on some research or theory I agree that age 27 seems arbitrary, but perhaps they have some insights on investor psychology and are trying something new This topic is worth a deeper dive Comment from : Clarence Lee |

Absolute fucking fraud! Opt out ASAP ! Nest is a scam ! Comment from : Bobby Samra |
