Great informative video Unless you have a specific need, why shouldn't a balanced diet suffice? On pills, companies take you for a fool unless pharmaceutical grades are required Get this, they sell "super oxide dismutase"!? If my basic biochemistry correct, you can't absorb an enzyme usually The digestive process breaks down proteins with catalysis They also sell beta carotene that can actually increase the risk of cancer I think that's because of chirality and it being synthetic However the natural orientation found in foods actually decreases cancer risk Capitalising on lack of knowledge, Holland and bollocks? ;-) Comment from : Jamie Arnott |

Green tea extract is not the same as vitamins Plus it has a known risk of liver damage in doses providing more than 800 mg of EGCG per day Looking at a few different brands on Amazon, you'd have to take around 10 times the recommended daily dose to reach that threshold IMO it's unreasonable to expect that taking 10x the dose should still be safe Imagine taking 10 paracetamols per day (5g) - good way to kill your liver Comment from : godsofwarmaycry |

Sorry, but this is a terrible video It doesn't answer the question stated It takes one example of one person taking one supplement at very high doses as an example of 'what can happen' if you take too many vitamin supplements It looks at garbage fast food and states a few of the vitamins it contains What about all the processed oils and fats as well? What about the damage that would cause? Maybe the diet a person eats doesn't contain certain vitamins and minerals in a recommended dose and a multivitamin may help?
