@stetson Doggett, You should do another vidoe like this, giving people options since TMobile is doing that force migration Even though people can opt out, it would be nice to know what would be an appealing option if you decide go move from T-MOBILE Comment from : C_Dragon0911 |
But i need 6 lines xDDD😢 Comment from : The Coding International School |
it will be good to more realistic most of us are using our home internets so the GB data is irrelevant here brPlease compare family plan with prices without phone and 10g and 20GB of Data and forget all others stuff Comment from : kal Bou |
Question? Did you comparisons included discounts like AutoPay? Comment from : Esax_08 |
Cricket with 4 lines is $108 per month Taxes and fees included Comment from : talha741 |
What about data-only plans for Tablets? Best way to go? Comment from : William LaBarre |
You need to more clearly define how you are calculating trade-in values for a better total cost per line How often are you getting those trade-in credits? (It is not the same for all carriers) Also as some others have pointed out, the discounts require adding a new line which is not practical I believe there are a decent amount of people that get second-hand phones so more clearly defining your assumptions on the average money spent on new[-ish] phones per line would go a long way in clarifying your comparisons A consumer who typically buys a $200 phone every four years is not getting the same value out of a $800 trade-in credit every couple of years (though they would probably be getting a better phone more often with that much credit)brI do realize you list a device cost per month and perhaps this is what we need to rely on to pull device cost back out of your numbers Comment from : S Sparks |
I have 5 lines with MetroPCS and I pay $125 wit no additonal fees I think it's a promotion they are running at the moment Y'all should check it out The only downside is that it doesn't have hotspot Comment from : Zimrri Gudino |
AT&T unlimited starter is definitely a good deal for multiple lines Just be sure to watch your bill EVERY MONTH and make sure that you get your discounts… And keep getting them! Comment from : Daniel R |
I'm paying for visible + and two regular visible base lines for 85$ a month no complaints Visible is great Comment from : Gabriel Salazar |
I think you missed the part where Tmobile required a new line for the phone discount One cannot add a new line every 2 years to get free phone, that does not make sense can you adjust the pricing to reflect this? Also trade in value is not free money and cannot be simply deducted as free cash You need to adjust for that also Comment from : Sohail Siddiqui |
Thank you Comment from : ecfearfactory86 |
Yes, BUT, My Mint phone next to my T-Mo phone, both using T-Mo towers, the T-Mo phone data speeds are so much faster Mint struggles unless it is on WIFI Comment from : Corey Magyar |

I am just curious You don't mention Consumer Cellular Is there something wrong with them? Comment from : Gerrbear LaVallee |
The thing with going with small carriers that people need to be aware of is dropped coverage, and it happens a lot As an example, if you have service with Metro you're using T-Mobile's network If that network is getting congested and bandwidth needs to be freed up to keep the data flowing, who is getting their connection dropped? If you guested you on Metro as opposed to the T-Mobile customer, you would be correct All the major carriers do it the same way, which is fair since their primary customers using their networks are paying more in general Comment from : Thullraven |
You should have seperated the phone cost column Everyone is not buying a new phone Would love to have seen a comparison with plan cost and fees but you grouped the fees in with phone cost Comment from : Charlene Michalec |
All these are too expensive Comment from : tallica2002 |
Question - why is Google Fi not included in any of these videos? Comment from : Danny B |

Stetson I think you had a typo 4 lines of US Mobile's unlimited basic is $20 per line, not $25 Comment from : Nahid Ahmed |
Excellent video, love your graphs and all the research it takes to make these! My family is on ATT Unlimited Starter with 5 lines and can confirm, truly one of the best deals around for what you get With the autopay it's $30 + the various fees, so it does equal to about that in your graph Comment from : Scott Wallace |
I dont really understand how tmobile essentials always looks so expensive when our family only pays about $30 per line for 4 people Is this calculation only taking into consideration people who only trade-in? Comment from : Raul |

Been watching for a while And all I can say is the effort you put I to these videos is amazing! This kind of content helps those who really need to save, want to save, or just don't use there phones enough to justify the need for more "frills" As someone who has a grandfathered education plan, most plans still don't make sense to change you But when it's time, I'll definitely be on the look for your videos Comment from : Albert Rangel |

good video overall but I am curious y the visible $45 plan was not included anywhere? it includes taxes and fees and is only $45/line and has 50gb premium data also another thing to add is digital perks can save people for example US Mobile lets you pick a service or 2 depending on how many lines like HBO Max or Apple Music, and Verizon does the same and t-mobile Comment from : GreekManX |
It's amazing to me how closely priced all the carriers are Even Verizon's most expensive plans are within $10 from their competition That's awesome, considering how much more expensive VZ used to be compared to other carriers years ago Very impressive! Comment from : B |

Stellar video I like the comparison of the “true cost“ of each plan Last year when I was comparison-shopping, I noticed that 5 lines of the AT&T Unlimited Elite plan (factoring in the signature discount) was slightly less expensive than the Cricket More plan, once you take into account the device cost and trade-in credit Comment from : TJ |
