I think this increasing in gold prices trend will stop or change soon, once new normal in practice and investment in other trades will effect gold prices downward but not much Oil is not worthy like previously secondly it is easy to get loan on gold so bank and customer both like gold to do business Same time Dollar is not effected , for import and export gold need to convert into dollars because gold is not recognized as exchange or transfer as dollars in trade for some reasons It will also keep the gold prices on current level for some time because demand is still there due to uncertainty
