Real estate MAY have been a good business in the past, but not now Property values are dropping like a rock Foreclosures are up and are about to skyrocket Many jurisdictions (especially in blue areas) are so anti-landlord that you will NEVER be able to evict your tenants when they stop paying rent because they have lost their job Simply put, everything you learned in the past has changed None of these businesses are likely to survive during the depression that we are in now But real estate investment is the absolute worst on the list brbrThis is not to say this lady doesn't know what she's talking about But the rules have changed Even though the press and the government will not acknowledge it (because there is a Democrat in office), we are in a depression And that depression is rapidly getting worse We are also in an anti-business era The left HATES people who are in business You only need to look at the way they allow thugs to rob stores in places like California This is not the time to buy a business that depends on things going as they have always gone Unfortunately, everything on her list depends on the Trump-era status quo The world isn't like that anymore Comment from : corbett coburn |

Be interesting to see how these same business forms fare outside of the USA In the UK most would not do great, and I think the top 10 list there would be wholly different Most people have their own washer/dryer; new laws in progress now are about to deal a massive double blow to landlords and renting as a business and rents are so high compared to mortgages and interest rates rising fast (impacting buy to let landlords) its a gamble for sure; delivery and real estate are very oversubscribed now and trucking in general is having a much harder time than in previous times (especially Europe bound thanks to Brexit, where costs and delays are problematic and not likely to improve for some time); self-storage, is fine but costs are very high with respect to property and land - and there are already many out there to choses from - so competition is high from the get-go; vending not likely to be a huge hit either - these exist everywhere and only really do fairly OK when there are no shops/facilities to compete against - and that's rare Health care - private healthcare is a booming industry in the UK, but would need astronomical outlay to compete in most cases, or medical degrees and advanced experience to open private practise - not something most of us have - NHS is free at point of delivery Comment from : Richard Lee |

business that will never fail and with very low failure risk are ESSENTIAL businesses Medical/Hospitals/Medicine; Water and Energy; Grocery Stores; Land Farming, and CHURCHES (because people need some type of spiritual connection) They all provide to all Demographic of customers regardless of age and gender Every other businesses has HIGH LIABILITY with high depreciated value once you own it The burden that comes with the depreciated asset does not add value unless it is maintained as it requires lots of time money, time and effort for little profit return It does not have a sustainable support system and it's like self incriminating yourself to something that doesn't really benefit you in the long run yet drain your pockets instead You will always make more money selling a pallet of plain Drinking water than a pallet of Soft Beverage or Alcohol 🤣😂😂😂 Comment from : yeahman1756 |
