I have to disagree with this documentary when they said that George V was Queen Alexandra’s favorite child In all the books I’ve read, and documentaries and interviews I’ve watched, it was Prince Albert Victor, her and Edward VII’s oldest child (who died very young when he was in his 20’s) was her favorite child I think that’s how those people are: they are only ever interested in the heir Dagmar, Alexandra’s sister, was the same with her oldest child, Nicholas II of Russia He was the apple of her eye and she positively couldn’t stand her daughters
