kutcher might be a great actor , but this show was completely based around sheen so it was almost impossible to replicate the humour and overall basic idea the show was based on , also jones also grew up meaning half men was gone , which often leads to many shows dying

I remember Ashton saying at Emmy, "I am not Charlie Sheen" and you know what Ashton, you will never be!!! Charlie Sheen made the show what it is I never saw it after season 8 (PS: I am not saying Ashton is a bad actor/person, but Charlie sheen was the soul of the show) His chemistry and rapport with the entire cast seamed natural and easy

It is such a dang shame they didn't take up Charlie sheen on his idea of the Harpers, that would have been awesome, brI still feel like if they found the right actor's a origin show where they are growing up could be made, they always mention different thing's that happened in the past, maybe some of those could be part of the plot's, and I'm sure they could come up with a ton of other ideas for it, brbrOr just do a sort of reboot of the show with new characters and focus more on mens issues like they did a lot of in the original show, it could work if they had good writers and a decent cast

Ashton was written as such a wimp, the script was unbelievably unrealistic Although I absolutely adored Charlie and Alan's dynamic, my belly laughing moments came during the Ashton series - Alan stuck in his rubber slimming corset, and his ex girlfriend drunkenly crashing his wedding I can only watch those 2 episodes, but frequently stream the original series

I loved Sheen but he basically "Shit the Bed" due to drugs, marital problems and HIV status! I realized Chuck Lorre was backed into a corner but ASHTON KUTCHER? REALLY?
