What if the only issue is some tarnish? My Grandpa passed and I have his coin collection (it is impressive) I have countless (dozens literally I suppose) that are shiny but have some tarnish, then some that are straight dull and old But, some of these are gorgeous He took care of them and I do my best to as well Same goes with so many Canadian pennies he had Between the UK, Mexico, Canada, US I have spent days sorting pennies lol

10 Pefream lol Its old German money 10 cent of Deutsche Mark (DM) before the euro came out 10 Pfennig would of gotten exchanged to euro cent into 5 cent RIP Germans got screwed when the Euro first came out you pretty much got ur total savings cut in half and the prices of everything stayed the same so it was a bad few first years scary really i was there

Nice video on coin grading I think it is important to mention ANACS for coin gradingespecially the variety coins This company will come up the rare R5 and R6 VAMS on Morgan silver dollars; they will attribute VAMS that PCGS & NGC does not attribute I recently submitted some Morgan silver dollars to ANACS and two of them came back with R6 VAMS! (PCGS & NGC would not have attributed these) I have also had several coins switched out on me at PCGSthey came back different! ( I sent in an 1878 Morgan set of 5 coinsI think only two of them were the coins I sent in) PCGS would not give me the insurance value on my coins that were stolen or switched by a graderbecause I did not take photos of the coins before sending them in) PCGS even revoked my membership after this happened! So now I love ANACS! They are a great company and they are so friendly So please give ANACS a shout outespecially for the awesome job they do on attributing "varieties"
