So when I saw this I just had to try it I ordered all the supplies & labored over which fabric to use; I used Hocus Pocus fabric in cl & it is just gorgeous; the little purse turned out better than I would have imagined You are fantastic at tutorials, BUT GUUURRLLLL, that hand sewing was a BEAR!!!!! And I cross stitch!!!! The hand sewing is the ONLY reason I haven’t made more!!!!! Comment from : Edie Darlene Edgmon |

My daughter wants a bag just like the one on miraculous lady bug It’s a snap coin purse around 17cm from what I can tell But the purse is very round I need to find a pattern that will make the purse look like a circle I’m a serious novice I can do just basic skills I’m hoping this is not reaching too far to make this for her birthday Comment from : Cess |
|
There are specialty pliers that are used on purse frames to crimp them onto the fabric It wouldn’t replace the hand sewing, but would decrease the space between the frame and the purse body, and increase the strength of the bond between the two Comment from : LateToTheParty |

What a coincidence, I just made a pouch like that yesterday! I had 5 of those clasps for a very long time, but yesterday I finally got the courage to start 😅 I made the pattern myself, with hair-on cowhide It’s very cute One day I want to make my own handbag I have a clasp like that in a big size, (also for a very long time now 😇) but that’s a glue in version I can’t decide what I want, make it also from cowhide, or use a reclaimed cross stitch embroidery scene with leather sides Have a nice day, greetings from the Netherlands 👋🏼 Comment from : Appelmoes - Art and Photography |
