I believe that the Bullion coins and the Rare coins are investments because they appreciate with time, and they have intrinsic value 😊 Comment from : Emmanuel, R Aladesuru |

Once it grabs you,,it's an addictive hobby ,,it's an investment rare coins always goes up😊 Comment from : Shaun Corless |

I’ve been collecting coins for 42 yrs now In times of need, I’ve flipped up to 90 of my collection 3 times I’m currently on the 4th rendition of this collection, still learning and enjoying hunting down the next best coin I can get my hands on…unfortunately for my wife there’s no end in sight Comment from : B Garza |

I collect coins and Bullion I don't look at it as spending money, I look at it as shifting my money Comment from : Llama King |

Great video Cool coin 🪙 Comment from : Alonzo Woods |
This video was far too general to be meaningful at all There is a big difference between stacking bullion, building type collections of older or modern coins, and collecting coins with significant rarity value such as 1909 S VDB Lincoln cents or 3-legged buffalo nickels The value of such things as investments could be determined with research, but lumping all of numismatics together won't tell you anything useful Comment from : Robert Virnig |
Hobby and investment My strategy is to go after key date pieces 93-s Morgan, 1909-S VDB Very liquid, safe investments for the short, mid, and long term Comment from : Brian Jones |

It is a hobby It is not a great investment I see dealers buying coins in decent shape and most use in the US the Greysheet which prices them quite a bit below retail brbrBullion has greater liquidity but don't hope to get your money back in the long-term except in special cases brbrReally the coin hobby has the potential of being investment if you hold them for the long-term but would be, if it were a stock ,a rather higher risk one There are intermittent cases of what was once a scarce or rare coin become scarce or somewhat common after a large hoard is found or releasedbrbrSo I agree with your video completely --- and yes you end up have some money put aside At worst, you will receive face value or a few cents And often a coin collection can be a good cushion - my family's collection while modest in value ( a few thousand) still served as a nice cushion during a health crisis Comment from : alphabet661 Chris Sahar |

Trading paper for gold has always been a good trade in my opinion Comment from : Vegas Milgauss |

Investing in crypto now should be on every wise individual's list, in some month's time you'll be ecstatic with the decision you made today Comment from : Shirley Parsley |
I don't see it as an investment, I Actually find precious metals a terrible investment brI see it as a very long term, multi generational wealth storagebrI also buy gold coins in order to get my regular injection of dopamine, instead of taking pleasure in buying useless stuff, I've trained my brain to take pleasure by acquiring gold coins Comment from : Crystal Clean |

Thanks again for no help You’re just a narcissist who is a good place who handles coins that are not yours so you think your God Comment from : Paul o |

Are you really thinking that folks buying old coins are expecting them to appreciate at the level that the 1933 St Gaudens has attained? I think any normal person who sees a coin sell for $22 million is going to figure out there's something very, very rare and special about that coin I'd doubt they're going to think the 100 year old quarter they just bought is going to bring them millions in the near future Cmon Comment from : Robert Jones |

I’m new to the channel, interesting content 🙆♂️Jamie ( living in Japan) Comment from : Jamie Frost |

Ironically I was cast aside when I suggested having a 10 to 20 percent investment in precious metals as part of ones portfolio years ago What I find interesting is you do see a influx of individuals come on to YouTube around the highs Personally I like the comfort of knowing if my wallet is empty one day I have a back up as well as a hobby collection to keep to hopefully pass on I find it fun finding obscure coins to collect and share Hopefully I can find one soon that’s worth sharing to the community Keep up the videos numi! I think hobby and investment Comment from : lee simpson |
It depends on what you view it as Some look it as an investment and "invest" in certain types of coins I view it as a hobby and don't care if I lose money when I sell Comment from : Mike K |
I think Property is 100 the best investment brI only got into gold coins through this virus shit and found your channel while off work lolbrYou got any good discount codes for Property? Numi lol Comment from : ukmachinehead |
I see gold coins and rare coins as a good investment Not silver, its just too cheap, not a precious metal anymore ( but if that silver coin is rare and has numismatic value, it is ok) The hobby is another story Comment from : martin |
I 'invested' in a mixture of Gold bullion/numismatic coins four and a half years ago and the value has increased by 9k if i were to sell the lot todayi would never have got that 'return' if i had left that money in a Bankindeed, a 10k ISA in one of the big Banks returned just £15 interest in One Year ! the truth is Banks don't Want your measly contrbutions to a savings or deposit accountwhat they Do want, however, is You in Debtto them, because debt enslaves you to those you owe the debt tobuy Gold ! Numismatics every day all day Comment from : David Martin |
I have been asking my friends for years "how much does your hobby cost you ? because mine makes money" you should see the look on their faces when they begin to analyze the reality of that statement Comment from : Robert Richard |
Investment? Dangerous I am sure a good collection will not lose money, but the majority of coins will not be a hit So it is a hobby with the advantage that is not likely to evaporate the funds Comment from : Mad Femur Fast |
Hi, Numi Have you noticed the meteoric rise in the price of the 1921 Peace Dollar this year? It is due to the US Mint coming out with a 2021 Peace Dollar Comment from : Donald in New Mexico |

Gold and silver would be far higher if it wasn't for the banker to**ers - been kept down by fake paper gold ETF'S Comment from : Collector Guy |
Really great video and some lovely coins aswell,brI started with bullion silver and moved onto higher premium silver before selling it all and changing to gold (I just couldn't be done with milking and toning) I bought quite a lot of proof gold for grading and done really well with the resultsbrI sold them all and now I only have a few graded coins left and have moved onto bullion full and half sovereigns with the odd RM new release Comment from : David Hoare |

I'm new to buying sovereignsbrWhat are your favourite sovereigns to buy for investment purposes? Comment from : michael burns |
Numaststic coins are a poor investment What do you trade them for , a failed fiat currency with zero value brWhat you should consider is a store of value So you should in my view purchase more basic bullion with your failing fiat Than a rare coin Comment from : Capn Birdseye |
Tokenisation is coming to every investmentbrYou will soon be able to buy a fraction of a coin, masterpiece and even a shot of rare whisky Comment from : michael burns |
I collect coins for there designs, but I also stack silver and gold for an investment and a way of saving At worst the coin is always going to be 1oz or 8gram gold So it's saving for the future for me Comment from : Robert Jackson |
It is a "financially inteligent" hobby
brI treat it like a hobby, the budget allocated to it is from my "fun money", but I do try to curate a collection made out of pieces that are desirable in the long run, therefore, should sell well
brIf they sell well, fantastic If they dont, it was my fun budget anyways Comment from : Classical Numismatics |
Yes an investment, a hedge and a hobby As with all investments some will go up some will go down Collecting is saving so that’s a good thingbrPart of a portfolio to protect against currency devaluation Comment from : Garry Croft |
Good content I think there are some coins we can overpay for because of the need to get that for your long-term collection but overall you save alot of assets u would have just wasted so I think it is a sort of investment as u realise what money u could be spending on more coins or bullion lol Comment from : raymond livingstone |
