I bought 3 rabbits today I waited 70 mins to get on to the Mint web site and after I joined the line it had risen to 15,000 people waiting in the line I think the rabbits are going to sell out pretty much immediately even at the 30,000 mintage When I received the email i thought no - why would anyone want one but I have now changed my mind

I had to get one of the Peter Rabbit, not gone mad getting 3 but i think it wise to get one to go with last years, just checked the RM website and i was about 18,000th in the queue! gad i bought mine at 7am They have upped the mintage from 15k to 30k which i think is a bit high, the rabbit will sell out but the other 3 might struggle, but does the new set of coins add value to the original? and will they continue next year?

numismatics, semi-numismatics and small fractionals like older half sovereigns picked up at the right prices normally negate the risk of turbulent gold prices That's my focus anyway but I like the older gold

I only buy gold in small amounts anyway, and i'm not looking to sell any time soon I probably will only get 5 or 6 coins a year in gold fractionals So for some one like me i don't think it matters that much
