If one rat gets in 10 "Tube matches" and wins every single time and another rat also gets in 10 tube matches but loses all, will that still mean that the winner does more reps per unit time? If so, why is that? Or is it just that if you win, you are more likely to keep going and do more total reps?
Comment from : Bertram

Chris Edmark
Someone made a reference to your podcast so I looked it up This is the first one I watched I enjoyed the information so much I became a member brbrI train dogs and people to do agility What you presented helps explain some of the ways that will help training even dogs In the world of dog training, the current trend is errorless training I don't follow that trend brbrWhile training a behavior, I will sometimes pay anyway when an error occurs It finally hit me when I went to an agility camp and some instructors were saying don't pay the dog for the error; only reward the behavior that you want and others said pay for every effort I finally realized that both are correct and that I do both and why When training a new skill, I pay for all efforts even errors and when I see that the dog has the concept, I transition to paying for what I want sometimes letting the dog get frustrated This podcast helped me understand why brbrFrustration and errors supply contrast The greater the contrast the greater the impression of what behavior is required The release of frustration also help us remember what is correct because our brains do not want to repeat something made up frustrated brbrThe open and closed loop concept will help with this And using a reward marker at the correct point can change an open loop to a closed loop process I hope I am on the right track

That action of letting the Brain and body digest and process the training is known as shavasana in yoga

so I shifted from exercising in the evening to exercising in the morning because of this podcast, and the physiological sigh actually did relieve the stitch while running, also since I jog on wet grass in the morning I think its helping by cooling the bottoms of my feet while I engage in the exercise, performance has increased, so those are multiple huberman podcasts working effectively for me, thank u!

I have long wondered how long to practice a new physical skill before the law of diminishing returns sets in I understand from this video the importance of being at a level where one is making mistakes (in a guitar move, for example), but how long should one persist in this state? Assuming I misplace my fingers in the move 1/3 of the time, should I continue for just 50 reps, or about a minute Or, continue until the errors are noticeably more frequent, or at least 5 minutes?
Comment from : Alec McAndrew

Joey Jungwirth
Is there or will there be an episode about how to learn languages, etc faster and more effective?

you said the nsdr practice or cold showers increase the baseline levels of dopamine and you don't recommend to increase dopamine before the learning sessions(signal to noise), so is it bad to do nsdr in the morning before the start of the day?(btw you recommend it that is why I got lost) and if it is not bad in the morning why? and doing those nsdr, cold shower after learning sessions should increase the baseline and the peak of dopamine when we get it right (while learning a skill) , but the noise delta will have the same value cause the peak and the baseline had increased and no effect on the speed of learning, that is how I understood it, is that wrong?

I'm ADHD and the outcome from the 'you lose 5 points' test was what I predicted We grow up being told we're wrong! We believe we're losers! But, we're also the ones who will try to get it right, until we get it right, to the point of hyperfocus, if given the chance If you trigger our 'loser' wound, we'll give up in an instant There's no dopamine in losing😃 Perhaps that's why the 'normal' reward systems don't work for us🤔

Aurelius
Thx

Deanduo
By quitting and not trying as much as the control group, they are trying harder not to lose something They quit to not lose points Both things are true

Keely Evans
10343 do you need to know if you're single or married for how many different situations in our present day society?
Comment from : Keely Evans

Keely Evans
10242 there has to be a way of helping them become intelligent enough to understand They wouldn't want their family used to extort them and laughed at about how we can't find any interpreters in American sign language in the United States of America that could hear me in English
Comment from : Keely Evans

Keely Evans
5802 you want to watch for anyone trying to convince you you weren't raped and extorted using your children or relatives with disabilities and report that immediately to anyone you can find in any way you can find That's why I figured if we were in the new facilities we could just walk out of our door and into our new room and lock the doors so the kids can't have perpetrators sneaking in their rooms
Comment from : Keely Evans

Keely Evans
5707 it's you're just mean and crazy if you ask them to do their homework and chores
Comment from : Keely Evans

Keely Evans
5442, yeah I was thinking there has to be some point to the police besides armed robbery and hostages for ransom in war crimes
Comment from : Keely Evans

Keely Evans
5302, yeah there were people that used the Bible illegally and there were people that were knowing that What it means is we have to take care of everyone It's just like when they blame the officers and it's all in how you use it
Comment from : Keely Evans

Keely Evans
4912 do you think it would affect your relationship with your children to have the police constantly saying? Did your mom do this? Did your mom do that? Did your mom do this? Did your mom do that? Did your mom do this? Did your mom do that on all kinds of crazy abuse charges?
Comment from : Keely Evans

Keely Evans
4912 after the police show up at your house with premeditated falsified information more than 2500 times, do you think that is related to when your rapist was promising, he'll see to it you lose your kids You lose your brother You lose everything he'll see to it They hate you and you pay him?
Comment from : Keely Evans

Keely Evans
4821 you mean like when they're telling you if you want your kids back you have to get a loan If you want your kids back you have to send me a card If you want your kids back you have to give me a visa do anything or we're taking your kids do anything to get them back? Adult protective services doesn't work with kids This has nothing to do with kids?
Comment from : Keely Evans

Keely Evans
4712 that's why you want to start teaching your child American sign language as soon as they're born because they can learn to sign before they can learn to use their voices
Comment from : Keely Evans

Keely Evans
4626 I think someone knows where my money is and they're just laughing about raping me and taking my kids and trying to get me murdered or in prison for them
Comment from : Keely Evans

Keely Evans
4433 don't you think that law enforcement was supposed to know how to take judicial notice?
Comment from : Keely Evans

Keely Evans
4256 every member of law enforcement What questions do you have about how to return my stolen money and children and build the new facilities to reverse pollution and resolve the draft? Can you please find a way to contact the architects regarding finishing the implementation with the contractors?
Comment from : Keely Evans

Keely Evans
4206 because Gavin was signed up for the draft when he turned 18 and I'm defending him and all of you
Comment from : Keely Evans

Keely Evans
4102, I've been stuck in the middle of an armed robbery, kidnapping in progress for witness and evidence intimidation and manipulation since November 18th, 2020 That means all of us have
Comment from : Keely Evans

Keely Evans
4012 how many tattoos do you have?
Comment from : Keely Evans

Keely Evans
There has to be a way of reporting it that they can understand instead of try to convince me they don't
Comment from : Keely Evans

Keely Evans
3702 I reported it I reported it and I reported it again and what did they say reporters will be attacked? We don't have any whistleblower situations I'm imagining all that?
Comment from : Keely Evans

Keely Evans
3502 you didn't hear me crying about the money until you took the kids The reason the kids were taken is a targeted violent homegrown terror attack having extorted more than 36 million from me and when you don't have more to give them, they laughed that they'll take you to jail to teach you your lesson about smile
Comment from : Keely Evans

Keely Evans
3232 I didn't want them to be able to write up whatever on whoever and put you in jail to build more military because that seemed really weird I'm like why don't you just train the people in jail
Comment from : Keely Evans

Keely Evans
3126 what about when they do that so they can take your money and laugh about raping you and promising to take your kids and brother that can't hear what they're doing to you?
Comment from : Keely Evans

Keely Evans
2626, my daughter did ballet for a little while but she wasn't really too into it We were a little more rough and tumble most of the time playing with the horses or something outside We would dance around just for fun but not too much choreographed except in middle school
Comment from : Keely Evans

Keely Evans
26 26 That sounds fun! My brother likes to watch us dance The kids we used to have fun doing wrestling matches and sports
Comment from : Keely Evans

Keely Evans
2312 do you think there's any way to explain accurately that you wouldn't want to pay them to manipulate your witnesses and evidence against you while laughing about raping you?
Comment from : Keely Evans

Keely Evans
Do you think there's any way we can explain to them correctly that stonewalling and gas lighting are psychological warfare and that's abuse neglect in exploitation?
Comment from : Keely Evans

Keely Evans
You are in care of the disabled so you think you have to take care of it whether the person can report it to you correctly or not and they're just laughing about They can't find an interpreter that understands you
Comment from : Keely Evans

Keely Evans
You think you're giving very clear instructions that you don't want to pretend you or your perpetrator so your perpetrator can rape you and take your money and kids But they are trying to convince you You need to retake the class about how to report it correctly
Comment from : Keely Evans

Keely Evans
You think you're giving a clear command of locate and return my stolen money and children and build the new protection and advocacy centers to save the planet and stop the war and they think you're crying for no reason
Comment from : Keely Evans

Keely Evans
You feel all tortured because you know they are murdering and imprisoning people to convince you you're not being raped and extorted How do you find a way to interpret it that they can understand what you mean?
Comment from : Keely Evans

Keely Evans
How would it affect you for people to pretend they couldn't hear you if you were an interpreter for the deaf and hard of hearing?
Comment from : Keely Evans

Keely Evans
Do you think it would matter if you were the one that grew the humans in your stomach and had your pelvis ruptured for the situation? Versus the one that ejaculated?
Comment from : Keely Evans

Keely Evans
How would it affect you to have your children missing and more than 36 million missing and be waking up to that promise having been made when trying to get you murdered or imprisoned for your perpetrators crimes for your perpetrator to laugh about stealing your identity for obstruction of justice, terrorism and warfare
Comment from : Keely Evans

Hello professor Andrew; a question regarding post training “Idle time”: Is it important to just do (Nothing) immediately after the training finishes, in the gym, or just when we have time to devote 1-10min to do (nothing), like an Hour later?

Hello, when running the skills backwards is this an unconscious or conscious process? Should I close my eyes and see myself doing the skills backwards? Also, would doing a guided visualization technique of the skill right after the physical session produce a faster result?

Wild Wolf Games
To me it’s no surprise at all that those who got the message that they lost 5 points performed worse than those that didn’t You’re basically punishing the behaviour, and that makes people engage less with the behaviour
Comment from : Wild Wolf Games

Ayako Saito
1:02:40 I am having trouble understanding why subjects performed poorly when random pitches were produced during playing Based on Huberman's conclusion, which is that the focus was on the motor commands, subjects should have performed just as well when random tones were played since the tones, whether the correct tones corresponding to each piano key, use of one tone for all keys, or random tones, would be irrelevant
Comment from : Ayako Saito

HG Wells
I have a buddy who's a marathon runner He was stuck on a plane, flying to a race, so he tried the visualization thing He said he did it for about an hour, visualizing running around the city, but eventually he forgot to visualize a crosswalk brHe was struck by a blue Volkswagen and now he can't use 23 of his legs
Comment from : HG Wells

Jennifer N
Soooo, could an adult theoretically learn even more by learning multiple different subjects for short periods every day? Say 10 min each of piano, philosophy, language, free throws, etc? Or are you saying there are a the same number of sessions per day regardless of what you are learning?

I've seen people in skateboarding (very skill-based sport), training less than others and learning more and much faster And I've seen try-hards, spending 2x or more time and getting noticeably lessbrI suspect that if you do too much repetitions, your progress will slow down or even reverse
