The 401k is good for some persons, because retirement choice determines a lot in ones life My parents spent same number of years working a full time job, but my mom was investing through a financial manager while my dad through the 401k My mom retired with over $65 million, whereas my dad retired with little close to $3 million It is your choice on what to invest As for me I invest with my financial manager bRobin Brezik/b , and I have never regretted it, as my portfolios keep increasing

Well explained, especially the last part where you need to buy shares once you'd putted money into the account which I wasn't sure what I'd to do at first when I'd opened my ROTH IRA w/Fidelity Now that I see M1 platform looks like it is more easy to navigate than Fidelity
