I've been to a lot of self serve car washes in my area and I've never seen a dedicated wheel brush, pre-soak hose, or air 😞 And spending that much time using just the big brush and main hose would've started to add up pretty fast There's even a place that charges $6 up front 😯 Comment from : Callow Xayne |
how much pressure is there on the rinse setting? why does it work so much better than a home pressure washer hooked up to a garden hose? Comment from : Roy van Beaumont |

I gotta say, I was looking for tips on how to properly utilize all the functions at a self serve car wash because my local car wash has a lot of cool features I was pleasantly surprised when I realized this video was taken at the very car wash I go to here in Hesperia, CAbrI gotta say, this is by far the best self serve car wash in the high desert Congratulations for running a well maintained business For years I've taken my car to full service washes up here, but lately I've started coming here mainly because you have so many amenities that make giving your car a quality wash at a fraction of what you would pay at full service businesses Keep up the good work Comment from : agonzalez8924 |

to bad they don't have these types of car washes in my city, then again the hoses would bust apart during the winter Comment from : bird718 |
I find many times the person or the people in front of me put the brushes on the ground instead of hanging them, the can't be bothered putting the hoses around the hooks, in other words, they don't care how they treat the equipment or the person who might use the bay after them I don't use the brushes because they have probably been abused by other customers and could never be sure how clean they are I will bring my own micro fiber wash mitts and towels and long as no one is lined up behind me, I will wipe down the car If the car wash is busy, I just go touchless Comment from : pebmets |
nice wash except i would skip that brush foam scrub rest i would use all Comment from : Reddylion |

OK, another video I watched said to dry off the car with a hand towel before waxing, but they were using wax they bought at the store Do you not need to dry car before doing the car wash wax? Is car wash wax different? Also does car wash wax protect the paint, or do you need the store wax for that? Comment from : Justin Carroll |
Thanks for this video! I just moved out on my own and have been watching "how to be an adult" videos, lol Like I had to watch a video how to use a garbage disposal because my mom taught me wrong lol, and I watched a video how to do laundry because I didn't know if you put the detergent in the machine before the clothes or on top of the clothes, or do you put the detergent in that hole on the side, lol Comment from : Justin Carroll |

I do maintenance two of my local car washes and I do not cheap out on our chemicals I set the dilution a few marks lower to make our customers happy Good luck Comment from : Tomas Villareal |
these carwashes no matter how you slice it are a money pit for the customer, some offer all the bells and whistles but they only give you a limited amount of time to use everything the layout alone of these carwashes are made to make you lose time while using them and pay more money in the end the only one who wins is the owner just like the casino Comment from : THECIGARPROMOTERS |

Hi Chris, (Paul here🤝)… I just saw 1 Car Wash for sale today, 10 years operating (needs paint and a few cracks to fix on the outside pavement, equipment in fair, good condition), located in Ontario Canada, $900,000 included land off course, with 6 bays lot of 60x50 $110,000 average, net $70,000=… Based in your experience, (and I know it is very difficult for you to calculate because of the distance…) but do you think that’s a good number? Thank you, regards👊 Comment from : P JC |

Keep the vids coming bro I am super interested in business best practices for self serves because I am starting my wash here in Utah soon Comment from : The Revestor |
Most car folks I know would never use the scrubbing brush Most car washes only have one which means folks use it on their muddy grimey tires and wheels and then the next person runs it all over their paint job resulting in that classic swirl look Friends don't let Friends use car wash service bay brushes Ive heard folks say they spray them outI ask them if their clear coat is soft or hard When they look puzzled ,I realize they just want instant gratification vs long term care Comment from : Michael Byrd |
What automatic are you planning on getting? I have seen some good systems listed on Carwash Consignment, my favorite is the Oasis Monsoon Despite its somewhat oldish looking gantry, these things are workhorses and can apply modern protectants/sealants such as Rain-X Comment from : Rodj |

Thank you for great video Chris brbrIts very nice to see how things are done over there in comparison to South AfricabrbrMy advice:brbrA process is about maximizing output and results in the least amount of time or with the least amount of effort or bothbrbrStart with the Dirt remover soap before anything elsebrThen go to the wheels whilst the Dirt Remover works into the dirt on the car The more time you give it, the better the outcomebrThen you can follow the remaining steps you didbrbrI would recommend the same if one had employees to wash car's for clientsbrbrHow does giving extra product on all steps affect your bottom line? brDo you think if you only provided extra's on the first 2 steps it would have the same outcome in terms of attracting clients considering that the first two steps kick of most of the cleaning in as far as dirt removal goes? So practically, are you not costing yourself more then you should by giving extra instead of good product within expectable standards of dispensing brbrChris, who are the companies that provide Self service equipment including payment system in your area or those that you know off in general?brbrIs it possible for you to give us a backend view of your tools, how they connect and how they speak to the payment system?brbrThank you, brbrKeep them coming Comment from : BrownieLove Mike |

This is great I’m going to start using one And start looking to buy one You didn’t talk about your truck bed Comment from : John Dziki |
