Anyone else experiencing or has experienced this? I'm experiencing burnout and regression of symptoms very similar to Autistic Burnout from exhaustion of masking and demands of passing as Neurotypical daily My brain gets overloaded and overwhelmed easily, and then shuts down Then I can barely do anything, even simple tasks become insurmountable or extremely draining Can't even think or focus properly at times Need long time to recover I've had periods where I'd crashed throughout my life I'm anything but lazy, in fact I tend to push and work myself over my limits Comment from : C S |

I disagree with the assertion that obvious physical challenges are the hallmark and the only sure sign for NVLD at an early age My family alone would slip past that criteria I therefore think presenting that as the one true hallmark could be very harmful to the process of early recognition in the home Comment from : MJade |

The question I have is simple: What do you do about these disabilities? All this diagnosis doesn't mean nothing if there isn't proper treatment What's the point of assisting kids through school when they have to eventually work in a professional environment that won't accommodate them? brI feel like a lot of this is a racket Comment from : HealthyMealthy |
