I've been watching your videos for a few years now but somehow missed this one I'm sure you have researched and figured out what the 1943 pennies are about but if you find the right one, it's worth about 17 mil The penny you found on that day is a mint mistake, I believe The metal on Money cannot be rubbed off or worn down If you still happen to have it, you can see how even the edges are I worked in Banking for many years inside an actual Vault where we processed several Billion per day We would receive New Money from the Federal Reserve and had to "Prove" it One day I was working on a "Brick" of 5 dollar bills My machine kept rejecting 1 bill I took it out of my machine and the bill was blank on the back I was allowed to pay 500 for it, took it home and sold it for 3800 Had I kept it, I could have made more because offers began coming to me of over 20000 It was a rare find, even though 1 was printed and was sent into the world of money, 99 more would have been printed at the same time but those were discovered and destroyed before leaving the Fed When you find odd Money, bills or coin, I would suggest keeping it until you can take it to a coin dealer or a Numismatic Authority that could give you a realistic value By the way, the 17 mil penny has never been foundyet Its existence is known about so check your pennies before you put them in your bucketsbrHappy Thanksgiving! We also use cash My husband says everything what is left we put into a pickybank or a container from cookies when we have a tin one So we also get change from plastic bottles getting them back to the grocerie store I depisite at the bank i bought new jewellery real gold from that saving for renovating the stairs and lasr year we painted the kitchen and livingroom The change i get from the plastic bottles goes to my daughter for her future So we save it as much as we can And it is fun Comment from : Lorraine Van Loo

At the end of World War II they only made a limited amount of penny’s as focus was put on ending the war and the people who made the coins did other jobs, Penny’s were barley produced in 1943 making them pretty rare I’m surprised the machine doesn’t snatch them up, that’s cool brbrAlso saw a comment saying they were made of a different material, this may be why that machine can’t accept them, but all in all they are rare keep your eyes out!
