watched this video twice and tried to apply them to my latest aliexpress shopping spree, turns out that out of 18 stuff I bought, 3 were unnecessary since I already had something similar At least they were only small accesories, will keep practicing Thanks Maurice! Comment from : Belén Maldonado |

Weird timing as I have been diving into my personal finances with my wife more frequently lately No matter how we look at the numbers 1 thing is very very clear It really has little to do with how much we bring in, that number stays fairly consistent It has EVERYTHING to do with what we have going out! Its shocking to see some of the things you spend money on each month and when you start digging deeper and chatting with friends you realize how many of us live outside of our means We all need to take a deep breath, be grateful for the things we DO have and continue to find ways to enjoy life Although I agree with Maurice, we all have our weaknesses and mine seems to be concert tickets 🤣Cheers All! This video is a game changer, I have been looking for the best way to increase my income and start up my retirement, but I really do not know much about investments and trading stocks I keep postponing every single day that passes, but I want to begin now How should I start? What do I need to know? Comment from : John Powers |

Great video and amazing plan The steps are a good idea I do something similar with Amazon When I am shopping whether idea from a video or something that I think I want, I leave it in my cart for at least 3 weeks before a make the purchase At the end of that time and I can still justify the need (instead of wanting) I get it as long as I can pay for it with cash Yes, there are thing I want and those are purchases I want to leave off the credit card Amazon can be a dangerous path if you are not careful Watches are my weakness too!!! Wow, what an incredible video! No matter the circumstances, it's crucial for everyone to have a burning passion and a clear goal to strive for Once you have that focus, making choices becomes effortless and enjoyable Personally, I've witnessed a remarkable transformation in my financial journey From an ordinary lifestyle to earning over $63k per month, it's truly astounding! By consistently compounding my income through various profitable investments like savings accounts, stocks, bonds, and high-yield dividend funds, I've built a well-diversified portfolio worth seven figures Thanks to the guidance of financial professional Gregory Thomas Patchak, I've learned to concentrate my efforts and prepare for any financial struggles that come my way The world of finance is full of opportunities, you just need to stay focused on the right path Comment from : Gary Winston Brown |
Look at this guy with his name brand tape measure 😂brbrJust kidding, another great video Comment from : namenamenamename |
I’ve watched a lot of these type videos to the point I almost skipped this one Glad I didn’t! What this video does better than most others with a similar title is that it better takes into account the various different types of purchases we make, sets clear boundaries for purchases, and allows for our humanness like with the category of spending we are really drawn to used for milestones and rewards for goals accomplished 👍👍 Comment from : zachparade |
I think, that 2 and 3 rules are the same one If we use something every week it's reduce per use cost) As I know, many businesses use this rules when planning budget Comment from : Mike |

I’ve been applying the 1 week per £100 rule If there’s something I want, for every £100 it costs, wait a week brIt’s amazing how time puts nonsense into perspective Did I want that Bulova moon watch? Yes, but 6 weeks later I’d forgotten all about it Comment from : Phil Makes Things |
this is so hard for me right now been trying for 2 years to spend less, but my adult ADHD and mild depression kicks my butt i'm going to download your workbook, and try my best to follow thru i do use your two week rule though, but with the amazon shopping cart LOL if i still want it a month later, i'll buy it, but sometimes i just clear it out but doesn't always work Comment from : Gumbii Grows |
Excellent video, Maurice! I wish I could share this with my 20 year old self 😂 Comment from : ro pro |
I love this I’m turning 40 in January, and I’ve been wanting a certain car for a while I told myself I would get myself that car for my 40th IF (and only if) I can pay down all my other non-mortgage debt (minus one personal loan that I have, which has a set and predictable monthly payment so is easy to budget for) So far, I’m about 80 there Having a clear and defined goal with a positive reward helps me achieve things better than just saying, “well, I’ll get the car and figure out the rest later” Comment from : Matthew Morse |
So much discipline in one video 🫡 Comment from : Avag Fitness |

Top Video I calculated the factor of accrued and reinvested interest from my age until 65 (possibly to retire earlier or to leave it to my kids) If you multiply the price of a good with this factor, you get the value of thos sort of money in three decades (in my case) I stopped buying nearly everything Comment from : F MotU |
The 2 week rule is a great idea that I need to implement 👍 Comment from : Don Phillips |

Very good video brother I subconsciously have been a few of these but I really like the frequency of use and cost per use You’re right, I will spend a little more on something that I will use all the time Comment from : Nick M |
