yeah this bs keeps happening even on undercover, i hate lazt ai programing, i've looking for a mod on u2 to fix this, but there's varely any mod for that game, i'm stuck in a race where the ai should be bashing itself against the walls, but as soon as they get in my rear, or pass me, the game stops rendering properly! they drive like gravity didn't affected their cars, take sharp turns without slowing, and will recover instantly from a heavy crash!

I love this game so much, it was my first semi realistic racing game (first racing game was Mario cart) It is almost perfect, except for the extremely broken AI I’ve had countless times where I take the perfect racing life and, I’m driving my car beyond the razors edge, but somehow the AI still some how out breaks and out corners me and out speeds me, even when I’m using full nitrous, but I still love this game to death

Ah yes nfsu1 where skill does not matter actually being skillful is a bad thing since the game punishes you for it Game where it's better to use walls as breaks or even bounce from them, rather than actually driving properly I mean, why not? It's not like this game was designed for serious racing, so that's a perfect technique to use in it

Ai cheats really hard in underground 1, no way of beating ai in mid game drag races had to switch to easy, ai's car has better performance by default, impossible to beat them when their car has higher max speed than mine, ai's car can reach 323km/h while my car blows engine at 312km/h The hell am i suppose to do Even in easy only just barely beat the ai

If you are playing on EAsy or Normal difficulty, most AI will rubberband in races But in Hard, the AI is catching up real good, but does NOT rubberband, that is what i learned playing this game

i swear to god replaying this over the last couple of days on the hard difficulty is such a pain in the ass you feel like you're constantly depending on the mercy of rng if the AI fucks up or not you have no chance of winning otherwise they ai drivers smash cars away like they're nothing, do insane turns at neckbreaking speed, get speedboosts all of a sudden, you blow all your NOS and they just casually drive next to you accelerating quicker without using anything and do warps where they are offset almost instantly without having to turn to dodge obstackles it's just a shitfest

The cunts with Supra and Impressa do this a lot And I upgrade my Mazda with unique upgrades to accelaration Yeah sure this is 'challenging' AI ussually ends up banging into walls during hard turns especially in starting races, and somehow still catches up as if they got more performance than you already have, I'm about to give up trying to do hard mode run with the traffic essentially working together
