Comment from : Gamestar

Nick Brennan
You mentioned a pre-owned section on you website, but I can't seem to find it
Comment from : Nick Brennan

Hector Gamino
That Hamilton khaki murph is minimalistic yet elegant and the cathedral hands is just the cherry on top
Comment from : Hector Gamino

Riccardo Caregaro
I fell in love with my Squale 1521 Militaire, really Impressive for the money Thanks a lot for your videos not only 200k dollars watch are good watch Thanks a lot
Comment from : Riccardo Caregaro

Shereef Bayoumi
The only time a Seiko can be in discussion for dropping a grand or more on a watch it would have to be the GS line up Otherwise it's just still another Japanese brand known for making cheap watches, it's like buying a 50,000 dollar Toyota Most peopl wanna be in a mercedes or BMW at that point unless u are a huge Toyota geek
Comment from : Shereef Bayoumi

Shereef Bayoumi
For most people 1000 dollars means a departure from half the brand's u named here and going for the higher end stuff You gave minimal mention to the right stuff and focused more on the wrong when it came to the lineup u brought, all of the right options were quickly mentioned before the video was over and the main focus of the video was on things like Mido? Mido is an airport duty free gift shop type watch not a real watch enthusiast watch or even entry level into a real watch brand I'd take a steinhart over half the lineup brought up here Brands like Sinn and andersmann field watch which is never mentioned anywhere would be where u wanna put a grand
Comment from : Shereef Bayoumi

Ric
Longines VHP was a good shout It's a shame they discontinued it It's worth a mention that they also made a 36mm version You can still find them if you shop around
Comment from : Ric

Memduh Özdoğan
I can vouch for #GWSRolexCom's excellent service and products I splurged on a Rolex Day-Date replica from their collection, priced at $310 The craftsmanship is superb, and the payment process was a breeze with PayPal Delivery was prompt, arriving in only 5 days!
Comment from : Memduh Özdoğan

sayadelfy
Well I have my invicta "submariner" for 100 Euro for everyday watch and I just got the seiko black cat martini whitch I find wonderful looking for 600 euro A little bit overpriced but I love this watch, maybe it will be my new every day carry but not for water If I was earning like 10k a month I would surely go for the grand seiko snowflake but unfortunately I don't 🥹
Comment from : sayadelfy

Taha Badar
What I have found is that you can't go wrong with Seiko
Comment from : Taha Badar

Ian
Ive had a longines quartz watch 22 years la grande classique Its on the 5th replacement battery from new and has been so reliable and has beautiful finish and build quality Im so happy with it
Comment from : Ian

Cody Curnutte
We’re the Seiko 5 gmt series not out yet? Because I feel like that’s a clear winner for under 1k in the gmt category
Comment from : Cody Curnutte

atoms4sail
whats the difference between saying options and optionallity
Comment from : atoms4sail

Tim Bronitskiy
I'm a bit surprised he didn't include the Bulova Wilton GMT That watch goes under 1k, has a true GMT function, and looks fantastic
Comment from : Tim Bronitskiy

marnix van der linden
13:42 what video is he referring to?
Comment from : marnix van der linden

expomm
I love quartz, I have many Auto and mechanical but are a pain, service cost and fragile, never wear them because I am afraid I will damage on the beach or sea
Comment from : expomm

Asad Hayat
I like your glasses frame What brand is it?
Comment from : Asad Hayat

Alan Alain
Your videos are awesome, but No icon as dress watches under a thousand? May be Hamilton Ventura, no? They're dress watches, certainly iconic, and definitely dressier than the Tissot or Seiko suggested in this category I would have let these two in a more casual categorybrI agree on the Hamilton, Mido and Junghans though, although I'd definitely pick another band for the Junghans, as the band shown with it is all but dressy A darker, or black, fine Alligator style might be a better fit with it, for an evening watch
Comment from : Alan Alain

FAMBAM
Love all your videos Teddy, thanks for all the great info
Comment from : FAMBAM

Harshit Rathod
Seiko Speedtimer ssc813
Comment from : Harshit Rathod

Eikenhorst
Personally I think the Junghans Meister Automatic is more attractive than the Max Bill I guess people that find the Max Bill boring will not like the Meister either, but if you like the Max Bill, you might find that the Meister Automatic just looks even better
Comment from : Eikenhorst

Evan Mak
Alpinist is so much of a watch
Comment from : Evan Mak

Quantus5
Nice list of watches in the $1K mark Nice that you added a section on Quartz watches Yes, that Longines is amazing + or - 5 secs per year - pretty wild -- I think a "tuned" GS can get that accurate, but I think GSes are officially rated more in + or - 10 sec per year range -- and I read a while ago that Casio -- has a movement that is in the + or - 1 sec per year range -- but more expensive I think -- ie in the $3K-ish range
Comment from : Quantus5

Charles Holland
The last watch was my favorite but I do not believe they 5 second claim
Comment from : Charles Holland

Comment from : Tony

ck m
I have 5 Mido All Dials, they are my favorite It's too bad they discontinued that line, but I think all Midos deserve more airtime The other brand no one seems to discuss is Certina, have a couple of those Also, Yema should be on the list, even a little cheaper Finally let's not forget Alpina and Rado, esp the ceramic square case dress watches which look like jewelry
Comment from : ck m

Cla55clown
Hi, thanks for yet another top-knotch video Is the Baltic Aquascaphe GMT and "true" GMT or the "caller" type?
Comment from : Cla55clown

Love the mido and doxa options for the diver Any particular reason the Hamilton Khaki didn't make the cut for divers? The Khaki Navy Scuba is one I'm considering at the moment

Comment from : Joseph T

3hutp
When it comes to quartz watches, I think solar watches are the best option
Comment from : 3hutp

Stanislav Mikhailiukov
Not really interested in the other categories but as to everyday watch under $1000 I would choose between Christopher Ward Sealander and Echo/Neutra Averau And as to dive watch I would go for Christopher Ward Trident C60 Pro 600
Comment from : Stanislav Mikhailiukov

Jan Schweigerer
Hi Teddy! Great video, thank you!brAlso: I really NEED your suede jacket, could you give me a hint on where to get it? :)
Comment from : Jan Schweigerer

Elmer Estrada
Why is not in the fliegers "Alpina" does is the brand disqualified just because of the owner (citizen group) ? because i think they have a great history, great price range and great quality i think maybe Alpina is one of the most underrated swiss watch brands
Comment from : Elmer Estrada

Toox Talivai
Hi Teddy do you think your awesome videos have correlated with the recent spate of high end wrist robberies around the globe I would say it’s testament to how well made your vids are Keep up the great work and hide your wealth mfers before some asshole brIke me mugs you

Comment from : Hazwell

Steve Kannan
The best watches for 1000$ (Actually for way less), would be a replica I purchased online brAfter owning a GMT and OP for almost 10 years I wanted to get myself a Hulk for my 60th birthday, about 2 weeks later I came across a page about high end clones and decided to give it a try Once came I compared it to my original GMT (in terms of quality, feeling of the steel etc), I understood one thing, China can't be beaten There is no chance ANYONE will be able to spot it as a fake
Comment from : Steve Kannan

Paul S
I thought the powermatic 80 was the answer to my prayers having had two Eterna watches fitted with the Sellita SW200 crunch their gears costing well over £200 to repair in the last 8 years brMy Hamilton Khaki failed today after only 8 months of ownership - they just don't like being manually wound I've had an Eterna Kontiki Quartz in daily use since it was purchased in 1992 and it hasn't missed a beat If you want reliability get Quartz everytime No faffing around and you just put them on your wrist and they tell the time accurately forever Batteries needed every 5 years or so but the cost is only a tenner Don't wind a mechanical watch it'll just break!
Comment from : Paul S

jonasvm88

Comment from : M TD

MusikPiratCH
Well, when it comes to quartz watches there is also Junghans with its radio controlled watches to consider As they are radio controlled these watches are even more accurate than the Longines VHP (which certainly is an exellent choice)!brbrWhat if you were restricted to $1000 or south? A lot of your choices will be out of question Could you just give some alternatives? Thanks for this video! 😍
Comment from : MusikPiratCH
