I have A proof set of the 1943 steel pennies from each mint? What could that be worth? What I don't see is much value from recent non-proof sets and I am running out of space in my safe Last I knew, the coin dealer wouldn't give me anything for them Is there any reason why I shouldn't break them up and spend them (after looking at the cent)? Hey JB! I was going through a box of pennies with my brother and he came across a 1959 penny He said it looked different, because it had a darker tone I inspected it and it has a S mint Mark I researched online and found that there was no such thing as a 1959-S penny This is driving me nuts, and I don’t know if it is real or fake Or maybe it’s a mint error worth thousands?
