they got hit by inflation dg will outperform dol price matters a lot the turn around will be great If you look at the earnings of all these small retailers their margins got squeezed by interest rates and by inflation of the products they sell the current environment is not good for any of these companies because their shoppers have - low moderate income earners have also been hit so hard by inflation A good opportunity to get into a great company at a much lower evaluation than I would have imagined Just be prepared to hold for a while

Hate to break it to you, but you’re not a long term investor You continue to look at incredibly short term fundamentals rather than the big picture brbrWould we all prefer them to not use debt for buybacks and dividends? Sure But the big picture is that this company has incredible earning power They will also be cash flow positive within the next two years They also have MASSIVE growth drivers brbrNO company’s revenue goes straight up Ever If you think they can’t grow 6 from here, I’ve got a bridge to sell you I’ll give you that you don’t seem to understand the company very well But you’ve extrapolated your pessimism to such an extreme degree that it sounds downright silly to those who understand DG And thinking that Dollorama is a better bet at these rates? Yikes brbrYou will do well overall because you understand more than 99 of other people But your inability to see past temporary downcycles makes you unable to see the forest through the trees, and you will not maximize your capabilities given your intelligence This is exactly when you want to buy, yet you would have said the company looked healthier last year, at twice the price, just because their most recent fundamentals were better

DOL is a hidden gem hiding in plain sight Daniel Most Americans dont know it as they dont have them in USA but if you come to Canada you will see they are always packed, especially w immigrants and we have a lot of immigration Sometimes the best stocks are right in front of our own eyes and it reminds me of what Peter Lynch said about how retail investors have an edge over wall street if they just open their eyes I add to DOL whenever it dips DG I used to hold but I realized it was junk compared to DOL and sold right before the massive drops

Also: in the past 3 years, current assets have increased 10, but inventories 70 If you compare with Q2 2020, cash has almost dissappeared and it's been replaced with inventories, that have doubled since 2020 and now makes around 85 of the current assets That's not good either

I always enjoy watching your videos Still I have to ask you, why you are not looking so deep and analyze the BN and other Brookfield companies debt the same way as for other stock? All Brookfield companies are flooded in debt and have negative book values I don't try to discredit you in any way and I am sorry if feels like this but there should be a point of view from you In all forums regarding Brookfield your name is coming and people are suggesting that you are having direct interest in promoting Brookfield aside of holding the stock
