I tripped over this video I tried two small penny trades ($2000 on each) and sat on them 9 days before I sold them for a (combined) few hundred dollars over purchase price (8 growth) This was my first attempt out of the gate I guess that made it a "swing trade" I was super risk adverse, and sold one group of them within 2 pennies of the peak, but the other just kept on soaring after I took my profit from it I have a lot to learn Both stocks were from an area that I understood a bit of the mechanics of the companies (precious metal mining) This made making a "guess on their rise" a bit easier It was also just before the Fed report indicating the CPI had fallen, and the market exploded positively on that announcement I will probably be buying back in after they slump when the feds announce a rate hike brbrThank You for making this video I feel I got lucky and was basing my bets upon the mechanics of the companies, and the financials The narratives were not terribly compelling But luck, should never be a strategy Period was 3-12 July, stocks SVM and AG Silver had just taken a dump on spot price before the third of July, and usually mining stops are at minimum when silver prices are low This gave me a low buy in brbrThe problem is, I don't know the mechanics of a lot of other companies (other than integrated circuit companies) I need to better understand potential in a stock, where I may not fully understand the market for a product Comment from : addertooth1 |
