If I self publish I am concidering B&N and Kobo and also Campfirewrite (it is new for ebooks so just keeping and eye on it) and of course KDP but I have seen some horror stories on fb so I want to have other options besides KDP libraries

This is fascinating to see your take on the various platforms I disagree with some (I think BN is SUPER EASY, and Amazon is not as easy) but that just made watching your video even more interesting brbrI did want to say re: Apple: They do NOT have any direct-only promotions In fact, they’re a platform where it’s significantly EASIER to get a promo with them if you use a distributor, vs going direct With Kobo and BN, it’s TOTALLY harder to get in-house promos if you use D2D to get to them, but Apple? In-house promos are easier if you use a distributor brbrJust wanted to put that out there 🥰

About eight years ago I made $75,000 on my books in one year My first book, Feathers on the Wings of Love and Hate Let The Gun Speak was published in 2010 My second book, Feathers on the Wings of Love and Hate II, Call Me Timucua, was published in 2012 My book income began to drop and drop I know that good reviews were removed for no reason I have checked on my books and found zero reviews on my books and either sky-high prices, or a price of zero, on my books Amazon gives me no explanation All of my books have mostly good reviews Those that were not removed If I had continued to make $75,000 a year, I would have made $600,000 Today, I would be willing to give my first two books away to any publisher interested in publishing those books and taking them out of the control of Amazon
