I love the moment Pitt “hears” the ball is gone No image of the bat hitting it, no wide angle, just the face of the hitter and a sound brThey knew the ball was gone just by the soundbrLovely Comment from : @GrimDarkness1972 |
I don’t know anything about football and still LOVED this movie!! ❤ Comment from : @4NaturesStory |
Movie was okay Should have been about the Minnesota Twins though Who moneyballed better and beat them in the playoffs Comment from : @codyj9983 |
How crazy is that this really happened? If this game were fiction, I would have laughed it off as ridiculous writing Comment from : @sanghoonlee5171 |
I think it is pretty insane that one swing of the bat changed Scott's life forever Comment from : @henrylant7049 |
Didn't know Star-Lord was this good at getting on base :) Comment from : @JutiMayranen |
Love the movie, but moneyball isnt what made the A's good they had a cy young winner, the best rotation in baseball, a closer who got MVP votes (not chad bradford btw) and the friggen AL MVP Migel Tejada Jermaine Dye Chavez They were loaded with homegrown talent on rookie contractsbrbr"Moneyball" is a great movie, but isnt really why they were good Comment from : @dymetz |
You cut off the pump Comment from : @spacedad1853 |

Baseball haters like soccer you know the game where MAYBE someone will score 😂 Comment from : @PrinceIsot |
One of the best things about this is the reaction to the sound every Baseball fan knows it and everyone who's ever swung a bat knows what it feels like There is no sound mistakable for a perfect home run Comment from : @PrinceIsot |
I'm an Angels fan and i think we can all agree that no matter what team you go for, some baseball moments just transcend your team some moments even transcend baseball itself This moment transcends baseball while also perfectly summing up what makes baseball such a special game Comment from : @PrinceIsot |
👍👍🙌🙌🙌❤️❤️ so great… awesome movie👍👍 Comment from : @kylsh1 |

PSH's reaction makes this scenebr gets me everytime Comment from : @sentinelsofvmi2227 |

As much as I love this scene and it's probably one of the most poignant movie moments ever, how cool would it be to see a cut-away to Hattie's wife and daughter reacting Just sayin Comment from : @davidvbobb7785 |
Now why would you cut off Brad Pitt doing his fist pump… Jesus almighty… Your first vid? Comment from : @dimehighify |

What did the A’s win? Comment from : @timjones147 |
I know it’s a movie, but why would Billy Beane bring Ron Washington to talk to Hatteberg? Bring Wash into the scout room and leave Art Howe out of important decisions? This movie has a lot of inconsistencies The A’s had some talent They weren’t completely barren like the movie suggests Comment from : @GetALifeMiley |
im a lifelong phillies fam but this movie makes me want one A's jersey atleast Comment from : @shanecobain5241 |
That cutoff was unreal Billy’s private celebration is one of my favorite moments Comment from : @aaronacosta8018 |
Possibly the greatest scene in a baseball based movie ever? Comment from : @greg2142 |
Moneyball is the only film that comes to mind when I think of a movie that has made me cry numerous times, this scene always gets my eyes welled up if not a few tears but roughly 10minutes after this scene, the final scene of the film of Billy driving in his car listening to his daughter singing, telling him to “just enjoy the show” that shit breaks me every single time Such a beautiful film It’s almost criminal that Bennett Miller has only made 1 film since Moneyball and that last film, another amazing one in Foxcatcher, came out 9 years ago Why is Hollywood not giving this man more opportunities? Blows my mind Comment from : @jodythomas4324 |
I get chills hearing "Lets Go Oakland!" And hearing Bill King's call of the play gets me every time ❤ Comment from : @Jah94565 |
This is the only time where a movie can portray a sports executive as a hero Billy Beane change the way we think about baseball forever Comment from : @mattkominsky7308 |
RIP the Oakland Athletics You will be missed in Oakland, gone but never forgotten Comment from : @Jmattt7194 |
So I guess let's just ignore the masterpiece of a song in the background by This Will Destroy You 😭 Comment from : @austinistooanxious |

Love how my Ångels won the World Series this season💀 Comment from : @rossy2976 |
Sell the team Comment from : @diegopena1189 |
Rest in peace to the Oakland Athletics… A storied franchise that deserved better than being thrown in the trash Comment from : @yesterdaze114 |
Beane knew it from the sound of the bat Comment from : @Blankford777 |
As I watched this movie, I couldn't help but wonder if the announcers said what they said in real life The approach wasn't working and was a failure? But watching the movie, the manager wasn't doing the approach to get it to work at that point So all they saw was players on the team, that weren't getting played Comment from : @JoybuzzerX |
Shows just how much emotion can be evoked by music and images 🥲 Comment from : @nedschneebly5424 |
How can you not be romantic about baseball? Comment from : @TheMagicalwispers |
I cry every time it gets to the real footage of Ron Washington being so excited his hat falls off Comment from : @thewolfpacktravels |
Any time I want to get emotional I watch this video Comment from : @briank9486 |

Such an amazing moment in sports (coming from someone who is definitely NOT into sports) I grew up going to Reds & Tigers games with my family My dad loved baseball (was a Cinci native-thus the Redslol) & sadly passed about a year before this movie came out I would have been thrilled to watch this with him, as I know, he would have loved this movie brbrComing from a person who again, really doesn't follow sports, the way the whole streak & this moment played out; gave me chills & tears Comment from : @triggerbunny |
I gotta get this movie Comment from : @Kristian__55 |
The A's belong in Oakland Comment from : @gnranger |
This movie is the greatest baseball movie of all time and it’s not really about the baseball Comment from : @seanbarnett7464 |

2023 here Comment from : @user-wi3qz6ks7n |
This moment is perfect because it proves Billy completely right and completely wrong at the same time A player whom he had chosen for the team based on predictions, numbers and statistics won them the game in a way that no one would have ever predicted or expected And that's baseball Comment from : @TheSePeS |
It’s a me, Scott Hatterberg Comment from : @alexmurphy8837 |
This is a very emotionally happy moment feeling it for the first time Comment from : @Ghost-uk7ri |
chillssssss Comment from : @ross9867 |
Art Howe was unfairly maligned in the movie He was only interviewed for 10 minutes by the writer But that's Hollywood for you Also, Chris Pratt shares a good resemblance to Scott Hatteberg when he hit the home run Comment from : @steve4158 |
With John Fisher in charge, this is painful to watch I hope one day the franchise can return to actually giving a single fuck Comment from : @olledowerdna |

The fans must have been on a massive high at 11-0, and on a big low at 11-11, too a stratospheric high after that hit brbrWatford vs Leicester 2013 is another such moment Comment from : @stephen2583 |
