I think the thing to remember about these coins is that yes, although the original 2012 red poppy symbolised the ANZAC sacrifice, the 2022 is merely a homage to the popularity of the design itself, not done for ANZAC remembrance purposes There has been little to no mention of these being a remembrance coin at all The 2012 is special for that reason and always will be more sought after Comment from : @TheRealHoltzy |

Thanks Matt for being the light at end of the tunnel Unfortunately, most of present day bullion dealers are just trying to fool retail investors by charging high premiums and selling FOMO to new comers I understand they are running business and have to pay their employees but they should also see interest of customers who are very new to hobby Collecting coins especially bullion ones is a costly habbit and one should always check spot price before buying like crazy This is my advise to gen z and millennials like me Unfortunately, most of the bullion dealer I encountered till now are just interested in premiums rather than educating about the history of the coin release and why they are worth collecting Without checking mintage, many buy these at exorbitant premiums for 1 or 2 ounce silver coins from mints like NZ, RAM and Perth I realised it hard way myself Comment from : @anirudhatulya7501 |
