Do you think paying a premium for postpaid data priority is worth it? 🤔 While it's clear from this video there is a difference when doing speed tests, in real-world use I honestly haven't noticed too much of a difference Personally, I'd much rather take the more affordable plan options & save money vs paying the premium for priority data But hey, if you need priority data, you can certainly get it!br🕑 bTIMESTAMPS/bbr00:00 - Introbr0:21 - Net Monster & CellMapper LTE Bandsbr0:43 - Visible, US Mobile, & Verizon Prepaid data speed testsbr2:01 - Verizon Postpaid (Play More Unlimited) data speed testbr3:01 - Verizon Postpaid vs Verizon Prepaidbr3:53 - Verizon Postpaid vs US Mobilebr4:51 - Verizon Postpaid vs Visiblebr5:33 - Verizon Postpaid vs Verizon Prepaid vs Visible vs US Mobilebr6:51 - Netflix speed cap test (Fastcom)br9:04 - Click "like", comment, & subscribe!

EM Vélez
Verizon claims there is no difference between this pre and post paid plans Lol It’s clear that is not true
Comment from : EM Vélez

Alwyn Schoeman
My experience with Visible is that in some areas it gets deprioritized out of use during the day as a rule regardless of congestion
Comment from : Alwyn Schoeman

Sorting Algorithms
With Xfinity mobile, which seems to just be Verizon + Xfinity, I get downloads of 500mbps and uploads of 60mbps when I grt a 5g signal usually
Comment from : Sorting Algorithms

Navigator
You have different devices to compare (?) In addition, Visible doesn't have any longer data speed cap
Comment from : Navigator

Ruse Media Group
That must be some kind of joke Things have changed a lot now
Comment from : Ruse Media Group

Zhanxiang Hua
That is like 2G speed for visible LOL
Comment from : Zhanxiang Hua

pilotdog68
Would be cool to see this revisited with 5G phones, even if its just Verizon post vs prepaid
Comment from : pilotdog68

Rob M
Do one with spectrum mobile and Verizon
Comment from : Rob M

Jeff Hall
That all good but you didn't mention bandwidth Doesn't matter what the speed test is if you're not getting good bandwidth You can have 300mbs speed but with a low bandwidth your YouTube will constantly buffer and your web pages will constantly load slow
Comment from : Jeff Hall

Allen Rowland
Eh don't think this proves much I ran a speed test on visible today and got 115mbps down Pretty damn fast
Comment from : Allen Rowland

IG-JaxVette89 - Zach H
your visible phone was in power saving mode
Comment from : IG-JaxVette89 - Zach H

Kazi Alam
Been using Verizon prepaid unlimited for past few months and let me tell you their data speed sucks, I don’t even use data that much Switching back to T-Mobile prepaid $50 plan next month

Anyone want a free prepaid pin that is good till the end of Nov
Comment from : John Peters

Passport bro in the making
Thumbs down because he only tried the Colorado server, he should have included servers from other states to truly see the performance So before you judge who the better service is, remember the server location he used, all it means is that visible is weak in Colorado But if it was me making the video I would’ve tried multiple locations
Comment from : Passport bro in the making

Jme Anonymous
So if I'm in an area where there are alot of Verizon people and I have a lower plan like prepaid I'll be slowed down to prioritize them? That's what it sounds like you're saying That suxs
Comment from : Jme Anonymous

Ayb Lgr
Your hard work is appreciated and you don’t need 4 x $1000 flagship phones to run the test, you can get 4 cheap phones, but they must be the same exact phones, generations, OS, everything
Comment from : Ayb Lgr

Comment from : Jesus Gonzalez

LegendFromWoW
I experience fast speeds on Verizon 5G when I test and just slightly slower but steadily fast speeds on LTE Maybe they prioritize pre-paid plans which are on auto-pay for a long time?
Comment from : LegendFromWoW

7320 Money Gang Records
Can you do att one
Comment from : 7320 Money Gang Records

LGabriel G
THings are so inconsistentfor me for example, the verizon sim for USMobile was struggling hitting under 1Mb in most tests The Tmobile SIM did better some times passing 250Mb when on the 5G Network but it swaps to LTE often as well which drops it to like 1-5Mb randomly The behavior is not reliable so I am going back to ATT :/
Comment from : LGabriel G

Storm Chaser
I use pre paid Simple Mobile which runs off the T-Mobile network and get 43mbps speed download All for $33 per month 5GB of data I think per month but not too shabby on the pre paid speed
Comment from : Storm Chaser

Garrett Cooper
Can you please do an updated one soon on the iPhones with Verizon’s new plans? (Like how you did in the AT&T video)
Comment from : Garrett Cooper

Z Cai
US mobile on LTE gets me up to 242 Down and 577 UP bron Verizon 4G LTE-A AWSbr( LG V50 Verizon phone )
Comment from : Z Cai

Shane Gaddy
I get 100 Mbps down and 39 Mbps up on us mobile on in my area on super LTE You can get around the video throttling by using a VPN to get around the 2 Mbps cap for Netflix
Comment from : Shane Gaddy

Matthew Garabrandt
Makes complete sense Visible speeds have been so up and down with me regardless of stronger or weaker coverage shown
Comment from : Matthew Garabrandt

Sir John Doe of PA
You're using WiFi, your router and configuration have alot to do with this This is not accurate
Comment from : Sir John Doe of PA

kf Rahber
Its also depending on location, you can get way more from visible if near one of there towers
Comment from : kf Rahber

Viw from the Sky
Can you tether more than one device to Pixel 4a on Visible? Is Pixel 4a's hot spot as buggy as iPhone?
Comment from : Viw from the Sky

lagflag
Surprisingly though, Start unlimited is deprioritized all the time! Why would anyone go Start Unlimited instead of US Mobile Unlimited?!
Comment from : lagflag

Jimmy Woods
It is not a far test please make them use the samemphone
Comment from : Jimmy Woods

Mr_Wizard
High priority high speed is great When downloading video to watch when offline with no internet data access,brBut what data speed is actually needed to stream a movie in 720P 0r 1080I , how about a quality test of these plans streaming the same movie, I know you might have to do them individually not side by side, but again in a large city apartment building you can expect multiple people to but streaming movies at the same time
Comment from : Mr_Wizard

Ricardo Cañedo
That neck tho
Comment from : Ricardo Cañedo

Noe Nevarez
Wow coverage must be different where you are at On my test visible got me over 70 down and 12 up or maybe there was a lot of priority at the time of this vid 😕
Comment from : Noe Nevarez

coolunusual
My area's coverage is very strange It's notorious for bad tmobile and (sprint) coverage, can be as slow as 1 mbps even outside inside average 1-3 I tried Super LTE on US Mobile (Verizon) and got 70 mbps in my house I might stick with us mobile, Verizon coverage without the speed limitations of Visible
Comment from : coolunusual

bosco da indigo
I have note 20 ultra, on visible I have post paid speeds
Comment from : bosco da indigo

Chris
I actually prefer post paid because not only the priory on data but the ability to financed devices when needed

Off-Grid Optimist
Verizon is a joke I'm on T-Mobile prepaid for a flat $50 a month unlimited speeds average 50 to 80mbps I use over 100 gigs every month no issues
Comment from : Off-Grid Optimist

cdchannel
More accurate if you use same phones for all 4
Comment from : cdchannel

Comment from : Rigoberto V

Joey
Verizon rep said there was no de prioritized on pre pay 🤔
Comment from : Joey

Mystic Taluah
I have Visible Wireless and mine’s uncapped Strange that this one despite being posted 5 months ago is under their capped 5 up 5 down I was pretty sure they uncapped their stuff some time ago Maybe they went back I’m grandfathered in (because I was an early access user) so mine stays uncapped and not throttled; same with hot spot As proof lol I watched this whole video with no buffering in 4K (2160p) on my iPhone XR Wish I could post a screenshotbrbrEdit: also if you use a VPN you get faster speeds at fastcom But I’m fairly certain the app it’s self for mobile devices (particularly phones) is decreased automatically I tested this with vpn on Netflix and quality was still 480p
Comment from : Mystic Taluah

Brett Jackson
Everytime I think about switching to Visible for it's cheap $25/month service and deals for switching, I look at this video and remember why they do all of that The deprioritization makes the service useless, especially in my area of New York where at least half the people have Verizon
Comment from : Brett Jackson

James Hou
Lol the two Samsung have 4*4 MIMO while the Google are 2*2 The tower congestion at your location, how good the antennas are, carrier aggregation, etc, all these can make a huge difference in speed This test is meaningless
Comment from : James Hou

BT Tech
Boost mobile dwnl may be most times 7 to 10 mbps sometimes 30 or say 50 mbps rarely Upload below 2 most time and once in a while 5 mbps plus to 6 or 7 Ping almost 100 plus all the time rarely below 100 Pretty poor service from my measure Yes live tv and radio and YouTube run fine Youtube Does buffer tex messaging does fail or slow Cery slow No Group messages without wifi and cellular data being on Sametime Use data only works sends message and group messages Without cellular data no group messages And many times even with only cell data Still slow and failed texting That's why am leaving them 5x area near Arizona Was not like this few months back East coast and west coast was fine few months back All of this problem few months after they capped 35 gb data I use s10e
Comment from : BT Tech

Surrender Radio
I use visible and honesty for $40 unlimited monthy pay, unlimited hot spot, share plans, and calling to Mexico and Canada free, download speeds don’t matter at this stage of the game It’s a great service I think we’re becoming more impatient in society, even with quick service, and download speeds Streaming is quick Remember it’s a slight difference considering where the data is coming from, compared to years ago Anyone remember dial up? Yeah so you can agree, it’s still fast 5g won’t make a huge difference but the radiation from it will in our bodies
Comment from : Surrender Radio

Comment from : Art Craven

toy time play along
In order for this to happen and this to be a viable speed test do you need to ensure that all four phones are the same and that all four phones are connected to the same band for the LTE test
Comment from : toy time play along

I was ones in this situation before this is really common, but I met a guy who was able to help me, I think It has something to do with the initial limit that's placed on the account when it was first made,he explained to me what was wrong and even helped me upgrade, at a fairly cheaper rate, it took him less than an hour to solve the problem, here is his email {Smarthack32@gmailcom}whataapp +19712368490 you can contact him, he might be able to help to you

Muris Cirkin
It depends where you live when I was living in the city of chicago t-mobile was horrible speeds but super fast in the suburbs and now I have visible and it's super fast in the city and burbs
Comment from : Muris Cirkin

Paul Popov
Depends If you need speed at certain times and there are many users connected to the cell, postpaid priority is an optionbrIf you don't mind a lower speed (in general, for youtube you don't need too much speed to view content on your mobile phone, up to 10Mbps are enough)brIt all comes down to how much you want to pay and what you want in that moneybrbrAs a comparison with the EU: prepaid options and postpaid subscriptions have the same priority for everyone, including roaming (in the EU we call it roam like home)
Comment from : Paul Popov

TheSlayer150
Good, now I don’t think I’m just wasting money on the “Prioritize” plans haha thanks man

nexxterra
I work online, watch netflix and download/upload stuff all day with Visible, have had it for 3 months now, in a bad service area (congestion) I get max 2meg but I have never had a problem They say they are working on the area (Miami Beach) so hopefully this gets me closer to the 5 meg limit for hotspot data Never really tried a speed test on just the phone as I find it too small to really do much
Comment from : nexxterra
