Because business owners love selling away passive income businesses right??? brbrSomething doesn't add up herebr$140K seems way too cheap for a car wash like that Is it freehold land or leased?brbrThere are a lot of maintenance costs, and it's a seasonable business as well People wash their cars more during summer than winter There is a lot of consumable costs, shampoo, rinse aid, water A LOT of water brbrI have an ecommerce business It's profitable I sure as hell wouldn't make a video showing what I sell, how much I make etc on itbrbrThe business owner is seen on a lot of the videos, collecting the money, washing her own cars I don't think this is passive income at all I think it's a time consuming 24/7 job and has to be open long hours to be profitable

not to blow smoke on an idea but your calculation does not account for more and more people owing pressure washers (and the price on them came down) or the fact some people never wash their cars - but here is an idea you want to do this hire a kid for a week to count how many people use the busiest car wash in the area per day/ per hour this way you could get a real estimate of operational cost and profit in your area

I have to warn those who want to buy or start a car wash A company that operates in the west by the name of Quick Quack Car Wash Invaded my state the last couple of years and has destroyed every traditional car wash that it has opened near They do a monthly membership in which a customer can swing by and wash their car anytime It seems to me if you'ref going to buy an existing wash, make sure it's in a smaller community where something like Quick Quack won't come in and take most of your sales
