Dismount within 50 feet? It should be simply slow down before passing Dismount and do what? get off the bike to pass? completely crazy, do they have the same rule for horses or normal bikes? Set lower speed limits on tails, simple as that Bikes passing cars in traffic? Wasn't that always the case? Stupid complaint there Have bikes with required posting of watts, and max speed on the bike Regulate the others, and a simple registry please at purchase Not a fan of a bit of money to the government, but there is zero prevention of bike thieves, and having vehicle identification numbers and registration is one way of making it less common

In my experience, it's not the ebikers that are dangerous, it's the cyclists in full spandex and biking gear, going 20+ on 10mph bikeways and running stop lights and stop signs I went to lake murray over spring break and a cyclist almost hit me on my ebike as he was flying around a blind cornerbrbrHowever, I do think they should advocate for free classes for people, because there are plenty of kids (and adults) out there who've never taken driver's ed and don't know any traffic laws
