Hey brother I wanted to ask that my father don't have his social security number now he worked from 1998 to 2000 in germany but now he just have health insurance paper how can he withdraw his pension fund ? Hi, I started my PhD with work contract in may 2016 and I was on work contract till April 2019 after that I was getting stipend support from my supervisor for the period of April 2019-July2020 I did my PhD from Frankfurt After completing my PhD I moved to Heidelberg as a postdoctor and again I got a working contract from August 2020 with an active contribution to the pension scheme Next year I want to leave Germany and would like to do an application for pension money return I would like to know about my situation can I still get a pension money refund? The 60 months rule is misunderstood by many brThe rule says after 60 months of contribution, you are eligible to receive a pension in Germany It does NOT say, you are not eligible for a refund brbrFor third country nationals, a refund is possible even after more than 60 months of contributions, if the country they currently reside does not have a social benefit agreement with Germany If there is an agreement, they can check how to transfer their contributions in Germany to currently residing country brbrIf not, after 2 years, they can apply for a refund Comment from : Brown Capitalist |
