i have the same problem but with different mass, but still got the same answer 49 m/s^2brdoes this type of problem disregard mass? Thank you for those who will explain
Comment from : Jeliane Grace Maglaque

MYDonutHol3
Shouldn't the acceleration be negative in this problem since the object is going down? Or is it positive because it's not coming to a stop and slowing down?

Tsooj Baterdene
Static, kinetic friction coefficient between object and inclined plane are 0866,0707How much degree you have to add the angle of the incline to begin to slide the object? When it begins to slide, what will acceleration become?on what angle of incline object will slide constantly?

Meat Missile
Thank you for explaining why the angles were cosine and sine, respectively  My physics class didn't explain that  They mentioned how the angle was the same underneath the object as the angle of the incline, but they never went into detail about visualizing the triangle there  I always just imagined the angle below the object opening up towards the x axis, making it a cosine and the angle of the incline pointing towards the y axis making it the sine  Using triangles with those angles never "clicked" until I saw this video
Comment from : Meat Missile
