P40gin
I have an Arken epl 4 and love it so far Definitely feels more like a 1200 scope instead of 440!
Comment from : P40gin

Kross8761
I have a feeling that if this test were done again today the primary arms 3-18 slx would win (at least for the competition category, and for me personally it's the kind of scope I like to hunt with)brbr3-18 power, pretty good glass, daylight "usable" illumination, optional capped AND zero stop turrets (it includes caps if you want capped turrets instead) and it's only $500brbrPretty amazing
Comment from : Kross8761

Crys McCloskey
Inexpensive adequate for 22 cal pellet rifle
Comment from : Crys McCloskey

Rocky Mountain Peterbilts
Bought a Leupold at a garage sale many years ago Mounted it up Could never get it to hold a zero Called Leopold Sent it in It had been damaged and they could not fix it Sent me a new comparable scope at no charge It didn’t feel right since I had not purchased it new so I called them again and explained that to them It didn’t matter I had it and that was good enough for them They wanted to make sure to take care of the customer Buy Leupold! Buy USA!
Comment from : Rocky Mountain Peterbilts

Tosh Graham
What do u think about the crossfire 3-12-56
Comment from : Tosh Graham

mattio79

Comment from : Toxic

David Patterson
Excellent, comprehensive review! Thanks
Comment from : David Patterson

Mark Williams
I've got 2 Arken scopes and love them The $399 is misleading because you can always get them on sale More like $299 if you use a code at check out
Comment from : Mark Williams

Nickolas McGee
Great reviews, I recently picked up a new rifle in 65 creedmoor For someone dealing with vision issues or “old eyes” what in ypur opinion is the best bre bones scope with the best optical quality? Looking for something 44 objective with crystal clear reticle I noticed maven wasn’t in your test and what are your thoughts on the Maven crap1 or 2, Meopta meosport or optima 6, and HPO scopes?brThanks Jim, great video!
Comment from : Nickolas McGee

Comment from : Keith Joseph

Craig Shumake
I can tell Vortex has customer service that is second to none I have returned scopes the I broke and within two weeks I had a brand new scope no questions ask I am not going to pay more for a scope than the gun it mounts on
Comment from : Craig Shumake

travis smith
Bussis for 160 to 190 is almost a no brainer to just have as back up or a less than 400 yrd shooter
Comment from : travis smith

Quagmire88
Would any of these if not the diamondback work well on a cz457 varmint 22wmr? I plan on doing some target shooting but mainly groundhog/small game hunting
Comment from : Quagmire88

Anthony Ring
Who said you could let those dogs out when kicking them into the pool?
Comment from : Anthony Ring

O G
Thanks for doing the review, lots of good information I currently use Leupold and Primary arms scopes for my rifles but after this review I will consider the Diamondback or Burris I really like the Leupold warranty, they have always repair or replace my scope, with no issues Looking forward to more reviews
Comment from : O G

Patrick Rhéaume
As a former guide in Montana, and Idaho I find it just plain ignorant for anyone to talk about the weight of a scope just as long as it's capable to do the job At the age of 65 I've been hunting since I've been 12, 14 for whitetails If you're target practicing, you carry said rifle to the bench from the truck If you're locally deer hunting Mid-west east cost, you're carrying this from your truck to your blind If you're hunting out west the pack animal is carrying this for 98 of the trip People need to buckup and shutup on a scope weighing to much
Comment from : Patrick Rhéaume

JDM-Things
Does anyone know what power scopes are good for 100-1,000 yards? Im looking for a scope that will do really well for 200-800 yards though would like it to also be able to stretch out to 1,000 yards to try some more long range type shooting to see if it’s something I’d like to get into
Comment from : JDM-Things

Hege Farms
I just ordered the Burris E1 about an hour before I found this video I guess I made a good decision 😂
Comment from : Hege Farms

Adam Pennington
I have a Vortex Diamondback on one of my hunting rifles and the tracking is ABSOLUTE TRASH I have several Athlon scopes from the top dollar model down to the $600-ish range and all of them have been fantastic

Airon Noles
What do ya'll think about scopes/sights that automatically adjusted for wind with windvanes ? Think it would actually work ? I can picture it in my head adjusting for west , east , or downdrafts but not for updrafts , northernly , southernly , updrafts , nor cockeyed winds Would probably have to have a microprocessor ?
Comment from : Airon Noles

DailyDriver28
Some serious amount of money and effort was made for this video More than earned my upvote

Tom Fletcher
Missing the SWFA SS 10x or 16x fixed
Comment from : Tom Fletcher

AquaDonkey
No swampfox? Quality, glass and warranty are on par with vortex but like 100$ cheaper l, only in exchange for no illuminated reticle Or spend about the same as a diamondback and get the illuminated reticle with a 4-24x power
Comment from : AquaDonkey

H B
I know this scope is outside the price range of this video, but wondering if you had any thoughts on the Burris Eliminator 5? Really like the idea of having a range finder in the scope and thinking of picking it up, but it’s expensive and can’t find any real reviews on the scope
Comment from : H B

Trevor K
Why does the vortex beat out the Leupold for all round use? I have a vortex diamondback hp 4-16x44 with a bdc reticle on a 17hmr and I love it, but am thinking a V3xi or vx freedom for my next rifle because of weight
Comment from : Trevor K

Richard van D
Nice review but not complete imo without the magnificent Element Optics Helix or Titan
Comment from : Richard van D

J D
Not gonna lie I have a way overpowered sniper brand scope out of Texas I have put it through hell And never have I lost 0 on it Yeah I paid enough I could have bought a much better brand I have taken it deep in the woods during the Oklahoma rainy season Drowned it in mud and water while 4wheeling and even practiced the long range with a Lapua and BMG It has withstood a month on a 50 cal muzzleloader going to the range almost daily I also dropped it and while attach to a rifle it was ran over (in the mud) by a truck My only complaint is eye relief It’s very low I don’t remember exactly how low but it’s low enough to be the only one I’ve ever been scopebit by Still I’ve had $1000+ scopes that couldn’t survive half of that
Comment from : J D

singleken77
Have you seen the element optics???
Comment from : singleken77

matt dean
It’s not fair you guys get it so much cheaper , that vortex diamondback is almost $1000 here in Australia
Comment from : matt dean

Peter Minearo
Great video! I didn't see a specific review are your top favorite scopes But if money was no object, and you had the same criteria used in this video; what would be the Top 10?
Comment from : Peter Minearo

American Patriot
This is a great review! I think I'm going to get your number one choice, the Buras, and the Arken Especially after reading what you said in your blog about how they sent you a new one AND fixed the problem! I've heard good things about Arken from Taborasaurus Rex I'm surprised the Primary Arms didn't do better, I've heard A LOT of good things about that company and they're scopes I'm getting a Ruger Precision in 308 and looking for a good scope So I'm going to give your number one pick, the Burus, and Arken a try Thanks for the info!!!😎🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅🦅👊👊
Comment from : American Patriot

William Boyd

Great content! Leupold is my choice, learned years ago , remember the euro-class tasco's , I bought one over 30 yrs ago ,15x6 x 44 with 30 mm tube ,it was great , I got it when they discontinued them for $72
Comment from : Jimmy McMullan

Comment from : Randy Williams

Mel
Amazing video!! Are you still sticking with the Vortex Diamondback Tactical???
Comment from : Mel

Michael
I would be curious how you would rate the Black hound if that turret was working properly
Comment from : Michael

david folsom
Happy so see that I own 2 each of 2 of your top scopes Worth mentioning is the Athlon is a First Focal Plane scope and the Diamondback is second focal plane, I don't own the others so do not know, but for rapid-fire with targets at varying distance, the Athlon with FFP has a big advantage
Comment from : david folsom

None Ya
You didn't test Sun Opticssame glass just not assembled in Oregon (like your "American made" brand)
Comment from : None Ya

Nasty Habitz
I have one of those black hounds and both of my windage dials had that feel No click whatsoever Honestly just assumed it wasn’t suppose to click But after watching this I pulled it out and messed with it And the top dial does seem to have a tiny little click/indent feel So I’d assume it’s just crappy manufacturing
Comment from : Nasty Habitz

Brian Boucher
