Quite interesting to hear how in this remastering the voice parts are impressively clear, making it an excellent source for score study by choristers In contrast, the orchestra is upstaged - pianos and percussion might as well be in the studio's parking lot Jochum's soloists were better his 1968 recording on DG when, I suspect, the work was belatedly starting to enter the standard repertoire Thanks for posting!
