Hi Anson, I have learned all the keys of the keyboard so I can type without seeing the keyboard already (I have to think before every key) I have a practice routine but I'm still so slow that while looking at the keyboard without any technique I'm faster(like 48 wpm) beside of learning this I am learning to code, but when I do coding I hadn't used touch typing until two days ago, but it is very annoying because I am so slow Do you think I have to use touch typing only during my practice routine and when I become fast enough start using it for my work? What is the threshold?

What Anson said is so true There is such a thing as "finger memory" Our fingers really memorize where the keys are and whose job it is to press them when called upon brbr Think of tying your shoe laces Your fingers don't need you to tell them what to do anymore They memorized the sequence In fact, it would slow things down if you looked and tried to tell them what to do nextbrbr Same with typing

I can almost type without looking at the keyboard, with a typing speed of 49 words per minute But still make a tons of mistakes so it reduces my speed to 28 words per minute I'm gonna try this method and see if I can improve my speed and reduce mistakes
