If everyone surrounded themselves with people who are more skilled than they are, everyone would be alone think about it if there is always someone better than you, and if there is always someone worse than you, you must always be alone😮 Comment from : Vincent Kingsdale |

It's all coming back to me But as you say: "Only perfect practice makes perfect" Taking my time and enjoying every step Comment from : Werner Vos |

OK, cool Learn it in order What's the order? You never told us or gave us a link to where we can learn the order Why should I take your video seriously? Your advice is solid, but as a fellow teacher, I stopped taking you seriously as soon as I noticed this Keep up the good work, but don't make people do more research after they finally got the confidence to ask a question like this Put it all on the table right away You gave a link yo your basic courses, Which is cool, but some people want to have the option of going through a bullet list after watching this especially since you encouraged them to think about it in a step by step list way, and a lot of people will want it to be you since you're the one who introduced them I know, it seems ridiculous, but you encouraged them to think of learning as a step by step list When you make it as vague as you did it's just off putting Absolutely nothing to be ashamed of, as simple as making an edit in the description that saying "the right steps to learning guitar" Paywqll it if you need the money, don't if you want the views Comment from : Courtland Simkins |

It’s been 2 years since I told myself I wanted to learn how to play an instrument Im 15, (almost 16) and music is fundamental in my daily life, all my friends also play or have some of them Tbh, at first I wanted it to start playing songs i liked, sing when i was bored now i really want to try something new, that i really like without someone telling me what to do Sadly, I’ve been told always that is already late and stupid i don’t want to be the best guitarist man, just wanna have time for me and music This motivated me a lot, really ! I’ll do anything from now on to get a guitar and make myself proud…brIt’s never too late, right? Comment from : zeze |

I really want to learn rock, any video recommendations for me? I’ve almost never touched a guitar Comment from : Etos Eyes |
|
I actually do have one finger that is too fat I've tried very carefully to place just my ring finger on the fret and play the strings around that finger My finger is actually just as wide in every dimension as the space between the two strings where I'm fretting So, I can use that finger for single notes or triads, but not open chords I think I need a guitar with a wider nut to play open chords, since it's so close to working Comment from : greevar |

I’m looking at paying/subscribing to your lessons I consider myself an intermediate player Feel comfortable playing rhythm guitar to cowboy chords and bar chords and worship style E, B, A2 C#m progressions Can strum and finger pick or guitar pick okay enough Not so great at or developed enough in palm mute/slap when strumming or finger picking however Nor do I solo pick notes and do bends YET! This all I’ve progressed in 6 years 😂 Do you have both lessons for acoustic guitar styles as well as electric? I want to be developed at both but I know they both posses 2 completely different styles I probably go to the acoustic just a tad more but I love some electric guitar! With the acoustic I’d like to be more proficient at flat picking, blue grass and blues type of licks along more complex melodic chords like 9s & 7s The electric just has endless opportunities LOL! Here are my issuesbrbr1 Im all alone with my guitar Nobody around me plays guitar AT ALL And I don’t know a soul who can teach me (Im not a visual learner either 🙄)br2 I want to play metal But I need to know how to play guitar first before I do that and there’s a lot of false information and “do this not that” or “you should be doing this not that” and it’s hard to navigate what I’m supposed to be doingbr3 For deep learning I want someone who can help me along the process (what I’m doing wrong and stuff like that) br4 Like I said on the first one, not a single person around me plays guitar Not a one person 😒 So I can’t even surround myself Comment from : Cold Blizzard |

I am not a guitar player - yet But, why is there such a difference between the left hand/finger position of a rock guitarist and a classical guitarist Compared to the precise finger and thumb positions of a classical guitarist, the rock guitarist hand/finger positions seem almost sacrilegious as they lay all over the neck and fretboard, don't they? You seem to change from rock to classical as you demonstrate Comment from : Mystery47 |

My brain starts to shut down after 5 minutes, so practicing one thing for an hour will be challenging I've been playing for 22 years, and while I am improving at a very slow pace, I bounce around a LOT between different things I'm hoping there's an effective practice routine for people with short attention spans I would rather not be a rhythm guitarist for the rest of my life Comment from : Buddha Claus Studios |
|
