I stil have one of my merida bikes from 2015, first ones to have disc by the way this one looks 100/100 and still in the budget, amazing!

Fantastic review, as always Love the footage during the ride as well, looked nicer than you suggested it was (weather-wise) brbrI've found Scultura 6000 for £2,465 but I can decide between this or the Giant TCR advanced 1 (2022 model with Ultegra not 105di2) for £2,250 brbrAlso found a Planet X pro carbon Ultegra for £1,500 - which seems incredible value brbrReally interested to know what your pick would be of the 3?

It’s astonishing how just over a year or two 4250£ or 5000€ became “just” for a bike :)

I went with the 6000 di2 and spent the difference upgrading the wheels and cockpit I didn't actually realise the 7000 had a Power Meter though (although I suspect my Hunts are probably a slight upgrade on the stock carbon wheels) Also that saddle with the integrated tools weighs a ton!

Would you chose this over your TCR David? I have a Merida Reacto which I think is a great aero bike, and have just bought a new TCR Advanced Pro Di2 which I am loving too, but is the Scultura a better bike than the TCR in you opinion?

Couldn’t agree anymore with your assessment David! After extended research earlier this year I bought a Merida Reacto 7000 (just love the aero geometry) and it is an amazing bike for the money The closest comparable bike was at least £12k more expensive
