I still play the sims 2 on and off and legit still find new things I never knew about The level of detail is INSANE and it's in almost every componont of the game They even thought to have teens and kids interact with the playground merry go round differently and it's pitch perfect The kids play like kids and are 100 playful and goofy while the teens are still playful but play on it in a more risky and showy manner Of course the game has its flaws that aren't even about restrictions based on when it was made but overall, its an incredible game and I'm so glad the sim community is appreciating it so much again

I think Sims 4 is more for people who love to create sims and builds and really go in detail with these things Sure, you can still have a good game play in the Sims 4 Packs like the Snowy Escape or Growing Together are amazing and you can make great stories out of it, but even after all of that…I have to say the game can’t compare to the earlier games For people who enjoy making storylines and really play with sims, I think the Sims 3 is a perfect compromise Sims 2 has even more detail and you can have so much fun while playing The Sims 3 is the best for me tho, because you have the open world which is just irreplacable In conclusion, all the games are great but offer different qualities to different players💜

I get the comparison but it looks like you're cranking the settings all the way to the bottom for the sims 4, there are wave and water physics in there as well as translucent water, but it can be disabled if your PC isn't able to support all the detail
