When they teach kids in UK schools they should show them a video like this first, went swimming with my school class for years and they taught none of these steps, just said get in and kick your legs 🙄 My son also doesnt know how to swim after many lessons with his school class, ill show him this video, its very informative

So i can float , i can push with legs and arms , i can advance forward while under water face down brbrBut for the life of me i cant swim with my head over the water like the thumbnailbrbrI never tried that wooden board as a support and therefore maybe i have bad qualiry leg moves?brbrAlso i cant float with head up at allbrbrLike if in a deep pool, i know if i curl up or be flat face down (face under water) with body streteched ill float But i cant flat with my head up as at all

ive basically taught myself how to float and move around with my arms next is including my legs which i just suck at lol using my legs slow me down when swimming so i typically keep them stationary so i bascially mastered floated and beginner of moving with arms just skipped legs entirely it seems XD but i will need to learn legs because i want to be able to stay above water in many ways possible floating on back to catch my breath, floating upright to look around, and basic swimming to move to a location as fast as possible
