I don’t go to sit down restaurants really at all To me they are way overpriced I only go on birthdays or special events What I will do is buy fast food I love it because it tastes better to me than home cooked food I buy it around 4 ish times a week Otherwise for meals I kinda snack a lot on cheap processed food (no spoiling or waste) plus it tastes really good I normally spend 8 dollars per meal on fast food I always get the cheapest for the most food since it all tastes as good to me I think I break even if I were to always cook at home due to food waste I will always like processed food better and I’m not going to waste money on food waste and the stress of having to eat it before it expires

Stopping in to say that meal prepping has literally saved my life with how much money it has saved me; and it is much healthier than eating out(without trying!) and it is so delicious that I have not even once regretted my decisionbrStarbucks-goers, and other coffee shops, hear me out Coffee is amazing and new studies show it is very good for the typical personbut so is tea If you ever wander over to the tea isle in the grocery store you will see all kinds of benefits like better blood pressure, help with digestion, clear focus, etc I suggest you take a look and pick out a box you think will help you out a bit Going to Starbucks used to be a mental/emotional foothold for me that I needed to keep hold of when the rest of my life was terrible, so I started buying boxes of tea at the grocer and getting free cups of hot water for brewing at the coffee shops I still looked like I was getting daily Starbucks while spending only about $1/week on my new low blood pressure tea beverages

That's how I paid off my credit cards before I became debt free I averaged 10 dollars a day buying fast food for lunch I started packing a lunch and everyday I ate a packed lunch I would make a 10 dollars payment to my credit card That was 200 dollars a month and I would pay the minimum dues as well

I still do cook on occasion And I did a lot more when i was tighter on money It's just very easy to pay a bit more to take only 10-15 minutes and grab something outside And it's usually more complex and better prepared than what I'd make at home since they cook at scale I live alone so I'd just be making for me
