I sold mine for the 1st time yesterday Most of the "side effects" were pretty clear when I Googled the process Also, the center was pretty clear on what could happen Right down to the possibility of incontinence and embolism (which could equal death) I also seen that most centers do make money from it Any business cannot do anything for free or even at a break even point and survive The video they showed on my initial visit was pretty clear But, that being said, I did not account on being so drained the following day That also may just be me being a wimp ;) I did however end up making twice the money that they estimated online I think that most people should understand, and I believe you said it in the video, that this should not be considered as a long term source of income Mainly due to the possible event of getting injured further down the road and bleeding out Which in almost all cases probably is a bad thing Along with the drained feeling And thanks to you, I now know that it will only get worse the longer that you sell your plasma Thanks for the video

I have been donating plasma at BioLife in Villa Park, IL for 8 months now and I am sick of it The staff isn’t always nice, I’ve had to stand in line for hours to donate even though I had a scheduled appointment, and my arm/hand is numb when I wake up in morning I also constantly feel tingling in my fingers since I started donating They make tons of money off of my plasma donations and I only make about $70 a week

Here's why I have problems continuing my donations: I get off of work at 5:30 pm If Im lucky I can get scheduled for 6 or 6:30 but only if I schedule carefully a week in advance Arrive 15 to 20 minutes early, do the questionnaire Stand in line 30 minutes to an hour Get BP and test Get a bed by 7, donate, now its 8 pm Im hungry and tired Wait another 20 minutes to be disconnected and get in the car Get home at 9 pm to 9:30, if i dont need to go to the grocery store THATS WHY ALL THE DAMNED WAITING IN LINES AND WAITING TO BE DISCONNECTED WHILE THE ATTENDANTS ARE YAKKING AND PLAYING WITH THEIR HAIR For $20 You got to be DESPERATE for cash to do that Come on You can treat your livestock better than that At least pay them more Im sorry but Im just getting totally fed up with the idea

This is not accurate All donors a educated of all of the risks involved (scaring, nerve damage, dizziness, fatigue and many other side affects) As a matter of fact it takes 3-4 hours for a new donor to donate because of the education and screening process It’s not an Iv needle it’s a butterfly needle So many inconsistencies Donors are paid for their time not their plasma These centers are heavily regulated by government agencies and do not get in trouble because they pay donors for their time
