You don't need the technology You simply need to teach people common sense, that too many in america don't have anymore, and right from wrong from an early age Once you do this, you need to put a tough law in place that has no mercy on thieves that doesn't look forward to punish but rather to deter and prevent crime altogether In the Islamic Sharia law that the biased media misrepresents and shows in a bad light, thieves like these who steal to become rich and to live a comfortable life at the expense of others, their hands will be chopped off It may seem ugly, and it is supposed to be so but guess what you won't have to chop off too many hands because nobody would dare to steal anymore except those who don't need their hands any more That's what I call deterring crime The current justice system is too easy on criminals, they reward them with a life free of cost in prisons paid for by taxpayers who happened to be the victims as well
