The 5 Mark coins the bigger ones have Paul von Hindenburg on them they are 90 silver he was the president of Germany the smaller two Mark coins are 625 silver the other big coin with the church is called the Potsdam Garrison church and its 90 silver all three of those coins silver quite a bit the ones with the 50 on them are made out of aluminum not really worth much the other ones are made out of the same also not really worth much depending on the mintmark and how many were minted wich you can find on all the coins if you look closely it should be A through J if I remember correctly, A meaning it was minted in Berlin, D i think was Munich B- Stuttgart I can't remember but you can Google all this stuff There were some double die varieties making them slightly more expensive your Potsdam Church appears to be in very nice condition unfortunately a ton of these coins are in very good condition but they are bringing quite the premium, the 5 Mark coins are selling for about $35-$40 on eBay! They have value Do not throw them away Many of us collect them There is not a lot of silver in the 5 and 2 RM coins but I think the 5s are 90 percent and the 2s are around 62 Still silver The others are not so much metal value but historical value The silver value depending on spot in a 5 is about 9 dollars melt value, plus the historical value makes it worth around 25 and up depending on year condition and mint mark The 2s about 355 melt plus historical they go for 8 to 20 each The mint mark is just to the left of Hindenburg's head Condition is a bit harder to tell not in hand But I would say in fine condition at least Comment from : Timotheus Babcock |

So, the man on the front is Paul von Hindenburg they're silver coins, at least the ones with him on it are, same with the one with the Cathedral on it The 5 and 2 marks without the swastika are usually going to be the earlier production coins The 50 pfennigs are aluminum, and the 5 pfennigs and the lower valued pfennigs are usually I think made out of steel near the end of the war (if memory serves me correctly) Last but not least, at the very beginning, the coin to the bottom left, isolated, it is a WW1 5 pfennig Still, nice video, great collection!
