The lady's real selling point about her doll is that it looks creepy If something looks creepy it's easier for people to want to believe that it's haunted There is no one to confirm her stories about the supposedly haunted doll, and her husband could have gotten those scratches at work or while working outside but didn't notice them till the next day that's happened to me a few times If she was so convinced that the doll was haunted she should have just burned the damn thing and not lock it in a shed WTF!
