I think we definitely got a bit too excited after preseason, I know we’ve spent a lot of money but these new players, especially the young ones, are not going to be 100 perfect immediately, poch still needs a few games to get to know these players better and see how they react to different situations with tweaks in the system We’ve seen a lot of progress since last season, but unfortunately we have to accept that there is going to be a lot of inconsistency especially in the first half of this season This is not to say that we should lower our standards by any means, we MUST finish in the top 4 at the bare minimum, BUT it’s going to take a few weeks to settle into the new system That being said, poch had an absolute howler against west ham,l and I’m very disappointed, and the players absolutely need to step it up We know players like mudryk have immense potential, but some of his shots and first touches are just unforgivable, everybody needs to fix up And they will COYB 💙 Comment from : Charlie Arnold |
