I once won a water balloon dropping contest from the 2nd floor at my middle school with about 4 plastic bags covering the bottom of my balloon and 1 fabric wrapped around the balloon using tape to make a sac and the balloon was poking out the top but it survived the drop so

The only chance I got to do an egg drop, we had two options Make a shell to drop, or a pad to drop it on I put off doing the work, filled a ziplock bag with water as my drop pad the morning it was due, and it worked Definitely wish I had the energy to put effort into a nifty design, but landing on an inch thick water bed did the trick and high schoolers have a lot of things to worry about beyond just physics homework

At my school they did allow parachutes, but they had to be less than 30cm acrossbrbrSo I used 4 of them and a straw contraption similar to what you made brbrTechnically not a violation of the rules, so I won on a technicality

At my school I noticed that the teacher never checked if they were normal eggs because he bought them to school so I bought the same brand boiled on and swapped his out with my boiled one still hold the school record 56metres I’ve held the record for 9 years 😂
